Hello Everyone Welcome back to my channel .We are having very sad news about death of Herbert “Cowboy” Coward.

The death has occurred at the age of 85 of Herbert "Cowboy" Coward, who was most remembered for his performance as the Toothless Man in the television series "Deliverance."

Several local news sites, including WLOS and FOX Carolina, have reported that Coward was died in an automobile accident. These outlets cite officials from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

The collision that resulted in his death occurred on Wednesday in Haywood County, North Carolina, when a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old collided with his Nissan as it was leaving a parking lot.

In addition to his lover, Bertha Brooks, who was 78 years old, the accident also claimed the lives of his pet chihuahua and pet squirrel. The officials reportedly stated that both Coward and Brooks were not wearing their seat belts, as reported by WLOS.

The driver, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital, but no charges have been brought against him because the investigators concluded that there was no criminal activity.

Coward is best recognised for his performance as the wicked toothless hillbilly in the suspense film "Deliverance," which was released in 1972 and starred Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight.

In addition to being the youngest of nine children, Coward was illiterate and was born in the year 1938 in Haywood County, North Carolina. He was given the nickname "Cowboy" while working at an amusement park with a Wild West theme, which is where he obtained employment.

His front teeth were knocked off by a pistol during a make-believe fight that took place in the park, which is the basis of his famed smile with gaps between his teeth.

"In the past, if you were to fall off the roof, you were required to know the number of times you needed to roll in order to reach the ground. There was not a single airbag present. For the year 2019, he stated to Smoky Mountain News that "it's just solid ground down there." You had a difficult time getting that done, didn't you? The suspense film "Deliverance," which was nominated for an Academy Award, followed four businessmen from Atlanta as they travelled into the backwoods of Georgia. Along the way, they encountered unfriendly natives, including mountain men who raped them and told them to "squeal like a chicken."

Both the character of Coward and his hillbilly sidekick, who was portrayed by Bill McKinney, were the ones responsible for this crime that occurred in the very distressing scene.

In the 1960s, when Reynolds was working as a stuntman, Coward encountered Reynolds for the first time, as reported by the Hollywood Reporter. Reynolds passed away in 2018 at the age of 82. Over a decade later, when Reynolds was working on the production of "Deliverance," he suggested that Coward play the role of the antagonist.

Reynolds claimed this in a video of a cast reunion that was released in 2017. "He was a wonderful actor, but he couldn't read or write, and he stuttered," Reynolds added.

Although McKinney's character is the one who commits the crime, Coward's character is also present, and Coward has stated that he is the one who had the idea for the famous "squeal like a pig" remark.

For example, when Bill asked me what we ought to do with him, I responded by saying, "Make him squeal like a pig." It is important that he squeal like Pa's old pig. It was something that I mentioned a few times, but it was not included in the film," he recalled in the year 2017. In the end, the statement was spoken by McKinney's character, while Coward delivered a different terrifying line, which was, "He got a real pretty mouth, ain't he?"

Coward himself performed the action in which his character was slain and his body was lowered into a river after the death of the character.

As reported by the outlet, he was quoted as saying, "They had a crane up there with a cable and harness where the cameras wouldn't pick it up and lowered me down that big cliff." It took approximately half an hour to let me down, and in spite of the fact that I was in pain from the harness digging into me, I found that I relished the process.

In an interview that took place in 2006, the director of "Deliverance," John Boorman, stated that although Coward had never made a film before, he appeared to be an excellent choice for the role.
