I think that was the chronological timeline of those two events. The Inquisition burned the world, not the manufacturing processes. What could have been so bad that they burned a world and took a prisoner? Or does he mean "my world" as all the friends I knew?

I first thought this was three days grace with a Danish/Swedish accent

i love this story. Corrupt administrator (NOT INQUISITIOR it says it) getting his heretic quota hunt. Does not care who or how it's done. In the end the emperor does not come but darker things.

Just had a thought, how is he familiar with the sound of lasgun fire? He's a menial assembly line worker, unless he tests the weapons at the end or something.

Something I've been toying with for a long time as well is; what if he's telling the truth but rather than it being overzealous Ecclesiarchy members, maybe its traitors and heretics hunting the most loyal and faithful, targeting anyone who may prove as bastions of resistance against their plans. They could be culling assembly lines to replace them with other workers who are loyal to the insurgents rather than the imperium, this woukd perhaps explain his familiarity with weapons fire. I don't doubt this theory will likely be disproven in the next song coming soon but perhaps a different angle on things
