I am so glad I found this one. This guy is a hero that may never had been known. Thank you SR for what you are doing. And thank you for your service EG! Amazing full boat story. Every twist astounding.
ОтветитьIm an ex corrections officer now a blessed stay at home mom... Inside of a womens prison with head female gang members, mothers who have raped and murdered their own babys, mental health cases that smear body fluid or cut chunks of their arms out and theow the chunks on the floor and trust me it gets worse ... Your mind HAS to go to a dark place to be able to survive. We laughed at some of the things that would make me puke now being so many years removed. I can tell you one thing i still dont trust even the sweet little old lady from next door that wants to bring my children cookies... You learn a lot being around darkness and evil and coping is the first thing you learn. Thank you so much for your service Eddie! Its not for nothing. It means something to us. Even if our government is just as sick as those inmates.
ОтветитьThank you, brother
ОтветитьWow this was a crazy situation , THANK YOU EDDIE ,
WARRIOR 👍🏻💯🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
Nobody will understand what’s war’s meaning until they become a part of it. Eddie and all the veterans who served in Iraq put their lives in danger to keep others and their families safe during this shitty time we living in While unprofessional politicians enjoy freedom, power and money. I was kidnapped twice, threatened many times, targeted by a car bomb by my own people in Iraq just because I had served my country by being a contractor with the USSF, imagine this man an American soldier fighting in a country not his own country away from home and majority of people in that country seeing him as an infidel. Cannot believe he was treated like that in America when we call it the country of justice.
Thank you Ryan for this great show and video, and much love, respect, and salute for Mr. Eddie Gallagher for his service and sacrifice. And sorry for his family for going through this BS but I’m pretty sure they’re proud of him for what he’s done!!
God bless you Chief Gallagher! Thank you Shawn for telling this story to uncover the truth!
ОтветитьGallows humor is what keeps soldiers sane
Ответить...this kind of shit is why I talked my eldest son out of enlisting in the Marines.
ОтветитьOh you are so handsome here!!
ОтветитьAbsoluut respect ook in Nederland kijken we vol bewondering
ОтветитьWatched this for about the 5th time and I pick up new things everytime and my respect for Eddie increases ever single time. I was in the Navy, not the seals, plus it was in the late 80s but the politics I've seen over and over. In Eddie's situation It is by far the absolute worst of the worst when it comes to abuse of power. I was a lowly e3 and accused of losing a secret piece of mail. Wasn't my fault as far as I am concerned, but I was willing to take the hit until I watched officers basically throw me under the bus and flat out lie, which pissed me off and I lost respect for several. These officers were f14 aviators during the time Top Gun movie came out and this stupid petty situation led to me fighting back proving without any doubt a Captain, a LCDr, and several other officers all lied in an official investigation to cover each other's ass. This ended one day when the vice admiral, we'll known through the military, over the base at thaat time summoned me to his office and told me that he was impressed that I was able to take down so many well thought of officers as a E3. He gave me a choice to ruin each and every one of the careers and he would stand by me to make sure it actually happened because they deserved it. Or I could tell him what I wanted out of the situation, and he would make that happen. All I wanted was out of the situation at the squadron, and he moved me over to the enlisted training program in the same squadron but removed from the day to day interaction. What's funny, the CO of my squadron, who I proved lied in an official investigation a few years later, became one of my largest supporters because of what he saw in my and my no bullshit attitude. But I saw the navy do the exact opposite. It just depends on the leadership involved. What eddie experienced should have never been allowed to occur. At some point, upper level command officers should of stopped this insanity and not cave to the pressure of a few, which is what happened, I believe .
ОтветитьWhat so many do not understand is the total depravity of the enemy we fought in Iraq. Fighting and killing is not a pretty or a glorious job but a necessary one. Sad part of all this now and many now are starting to understand more completely is the enemy we were fighting was at very minimum created by our own intelligence agencies.
ОтветитьWe ran security for supply truck in Iraq. We were lucky and never got hit. But the brass decided to give the fucking TOC guys a silver star. I was pissed. Not because I thought I or anyone else deserved one but because my grandfather earned one in WW2. And these clowns were shitting all over it by giving it to a bunch of paper pushers. And I said as much. I told one of the staff sergeants he didn't deserve a silver star. I got a right up but fuck them.
ОтветитьThanks Shawn for doing this interview, I just found this episode, my prayers go out to Eddie and his family, thank you both for protecting this country, words can’t describe how proud I am of you guys.
ОтветитьSo wrong of country to try someone who fought in wars that his own country tried him for war crimes and nice big lawsuit he should taken against all of them
ОтветитьThanks Shawn trust is hard to find your Government can do that to a family that protect the people. Ask your self why would you help your Government Amy.
ОтветитьAndrea is a real one. Should we all be so lucky!
ОтветитьGot his book on Audible. Amazing story.
ОтветитьI told my son when he was 16, "When they hit the beach in California, we're fighting, but not until then" as I had a healthy skepticism of the military and authority coming out of the Vietnam era. Watching what happened to this guy, I know I was right. Wow.
ОтветитьI hope to hell there were some dishonorable discharges!
