Ganzo Firebird FH11 Knife D2 Blade? We have the test results !

I have one and love it. Always thought D2 was hardened at 60 HRc. It surprised me that Ganzo hardened it at 62 HRc.

Just got mine and sadly now they not only lack the firebird logo on the scales but they also have a big chunk of the scale milled out to make left hand carry possible, and not even a plug in the hole. It really makes it ugly and doesn't feel great in the hand either. Probably gonna send it back, it really detracts from the knife.

I'm going to need to see the ,"black and white," proof. Because the last person to test Ganzo's steel, his tests came back as as 410. If there's enough interest I'll find it, but you said you had the ,"PROOF," and your proof is just your friend that heard someone say their uncle works for Ganzo

Well done. I like how you cut (pun intended) through the haters who knock copycat and/or Chinese steel. I've had nothing but quality with Ganzo knives.

Hi LTK, I thoroughly enjoy your review videos. I've bought a dozen or so Ganzo knives in the last couple of months and while I totally agree with you that the FH11 is a step in the right direction for them, I feel like they still have a ways to go yet. I have both the FH11 & FH13 and while I feel the action on both are really good, the problem I have with both of those are the flipper tab having rough edges or burs on them that chew my index finger up. I don't know if it's just mine or if it's a production wide issue. I'm definitely going to take a few minutes with a file and try to correct it though because I do like both knives. I took some sandpaper to the spine and around the handle. It's a dream to handle now. Highly recommend it. Thanks for the video.

I always thought Spyderco and several others were exorbitantly overpriced. Thanks to Ganzo for proving me 100% right! The big names are committing highway robbery. The freaks wanna piss away big dollars to buy a status NAME, that's not my problem.

Hi, i'm french and i don't understand. On the paper we can see "alloy 1= TS D2: 0.00" , it is not D2, right? but in your video it seem you say it is real D2 and real 62 HRC... Check out the Ruiki P121 Hussar - very similar. Now look at the pocket clip - exact same one. Ganzo copies many knife styles

Excellent blade steel and features, but it is a little bland looking. It's not as bland as a Civivi Elementum, but for $25 you can't beat that Ganzo.

It is surprising that it is so high HT, 62 isnt it too high? Wont it break easily because of that? It looks cool, i have qsp penguin, do you think it is simmilar quality? i like it a lot. Would buy it, and look for some premium versions, copper, brass thats my JAM!!!

I have MANY Ganzo knives, including the the D2 FH11, I also have 3 of the 729 model (the copy of the Spyderco paramilitary 2) and I wouldn't trade ONE of them straight across for a Spyderco. I LOVE THEM! They are the most bang for your buck I have seen so far. It's insane!

A solid copy of the Fox revolver knife. A cheap and well made knife with ok materials I've been using it for a couple of years and I'm very satisfied.
