Why must we over intellectualize everything. The best book I've read on art forgery is Ken Perenyi's  Caveat Emptor.  Of course the book was excellent because it was written by the artist......Not a professional writer/academic.  I understand what Keats is saying, it just seems like these guys are more impressed with their intellectual jujitsu than communicating an idea, theory, philosophy or story.   Read Kens book.
