thanks so much for this video...! we are allowed to scrub at my hospital too... something i love to do i have been an OR RN for going on 25 years i encourage all new nurses to consider this very specialized patient care it is demanding... but more rewarding than anything else you may choose to do with your career...!!

is a scrub nurse the same as an or nurse?

Scrub techs can circulate. It depends on the state you practice in. Aorn tries to push techs out of the circulating roles. New nurses have to be trained to scrub mostly by techs. Most new nurses have a very small amount of scrub training. The are two very separate roles.
