Traveled solo twice, stayed at All Music resort, I was nervous at first but it was a good experience, don't know if I would do it again, sometimes I missed my family.

My solo trip was spent at Pop Century solely because it was the least expensive option. Hotel's don't usually matter much to me on a Disney trip because it's really only needed for sleep and showers. Can't complain! :)

I stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter when i went solo. I thought it was great! I enjoyed the neighborhood feel it had. The food was amazing, and i also loved that you can take the shuttle boat to the Disney Springs district. Ill probably stay there again when i have my next solo trip 😁

I did Animal Kingdom Lodge solo and it was an incredible experience. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The theming is top notch. If you got the means, treat yourself to AKL totally worth it!

I think it depends on the person. I would say Coronado Springs! Or a monorail resort. I meet people on a good Bar Crawl all the time!

I guess I have a different view point as a person who usually travels with family. I usually pay more as I’m going with my husband and kids, so staying at a deluxe alone is actually cheaper for me since I have 3 less to pay for. I also don’t like walking around a big resort late at night alone. I’m staying at Beach Club so I can walk to and from Epcot. Also with the door opening to the outside it makes me nervous (I get anxiety lol), so a hallway just feels safer as a lone female.

If only there was a value or moderate within walking distance of Epcot! I'm looking into staying at All Star Movies (second time) for my next solo trip because I feel like it has just enough Disney theming and is a shorter bus ride to Animal Kingdom than Pop or Art of Animation. I'm also interested in staying at the Disney Springs hotels though. Have you ever stayed at one of them? Now they have extra magic hours access but I'm not sure whether the lack of Magical Express and fewer bus rides make them not worth it.

I love staying at The Grand Floridian and The Beach Club. I found both of them very enjoyable as a solo traveler. I want to stay at the animal kingdom on my next trip. I hear really good things about it.

I tend to do Pop Century on my own bc it’s just enough nicer than the All-Stars and with better bus service.
I can imagine some solo travelers might enjoy having a cabin at Fort Wilderness if they are taking a longer trip with feeer park commando days. It could be a relaxing stay with horse rides and staying in some nights for dinner out of your kitchen.

I'll be solo camping at Fort Wilderness in September. $55/night. The only drawback is you can't split the cost of a golf cart and might not be able to justify the cost yourself (additional $65/day). I found an outside bike rental company that will rent me a bike to get around for about $150 for the week including delivery and pickup. Disney will only do daytime bike rentals. Camping isn't for everyone but it can be very quiet.
