Gabe, bad news mate. There's another layer to juxtapose. 😅
Ответитьi am part of gen alpha and i am not proud of ir cause like wtf is skibbidie my classmates suck because that the only word they know
ОтветитьLoved this episode!! ❤
ОтветитьUh uh where’s my bri 🤨
ОтветитьI guess I lucked out... my supervising teacher first of all was great, but then he got horribly ill and the school hired me as his long term sub.
ОтветитьI always warn my students that I can give demerits while laughing at their dis.
Ответитьis Mr Jay wearing invisible tights
ОтветитьI love the podcast and have been listening/watching for a long while but when did the use of God d@&$ become a thing? The language has gotten rough the past few episodes.
ОтветитьHi from a Russian teacher!
ОтветитьI love Tyler but as a Gen Z teachers it irks me when he confuses Gen z slang for Gen alpha slang
ОтветитьHey! UK teacher here. Love the podcast!
ОтветитьEntering into my first year as a licensed teacher, finding yall podcast was golden 🔥. Thankful that I did my student teaching through this Chicago master program (AUSL). It was intense but we were stipend and the student teaching was the whole year, truly felt as if I was a full time teacher. If anyone is interested, check out Academy for urban school leadership and look into enrolling next year.
ОтветитьI love it that they’re coming to Vermont for the tour. As a Vermonter it seems like people don’t even recognize Vermont as a state in the U.S.
ОтветитьIt legit took them half an hour to get on topic we love them sm🫶🏼
ОтветитьCan't help but love our russian curse word
ОтветитьNot in education but I can completely relate because I’m getting my master’s in counseling psychology & even during my practicum and internship the school is gonna charge the same rate because they’ve also made it a class even though they know we’re not gonna get paid during our practicum & internship yet somehow expect us to still be able to pay (keep in mind I’m doing my degree online & they charge a little more for an internet fee which is wild since I’m not even on campus 😭💀)
ОтветитьBeing young as a teacher can mean relying on being super relatable as behaviour... But that fades SO QUICK. I see teachers all the time in their late 20s/30s who feel close in age to the kids, but the kids don't think that AT ALL. And then all the 'behaviour management' that teacher has learned is out the window.
Ответить"Juxtaposed" is related to putting things next to each other, but FOR CONTRAST. Like when there's a picture of a TRex next to a building so we can see the comparison.
ОтветитьI wish you would come to VA or DC
Ответитьthe pen stimming
ОтветитьMy last year of teaching middle school, I locked my keys in my car. One of my8th graders offered to break in my car for me. He could do it fast without breaking the lock.
ОтветитьYeah! UK! I’m a US retired teacher living in the UK
Ответитьmaybe not a popular opinion, but Tyler is too loud and overbearing. He seems to constantly be “on” and trying to make everything a joke. Gabe is more relaxed and conversational despite some jokes here and there.
ОтветитьUnpopular opinion, but when a student tells me I look tired I don’t take it as an insult cuz it tells me I’m so poorly rested that others can see I don’t take care of myself
ОтветитьSo, google says," Ohio Rizz" refers to weird, cursed, or strange flirting behavior."
ОтветитьI love Tyler he is so funny
ОтветитьWe need more Gabe and Tyler
ОтветитьI’ve stopped watching this for a while who are these people and what happened to the original for?
Ответить“What’s the secret?”…”Being Black!”😂🤎🤎🤎
Ответить"I Love Hot Moms" hoodies and the looks I get from those students after I tell them I'm a mom.
ОтветитьWhat I’ve learned
Skippty toilet =bad Skippty= good
Ohio means bad
Rizz means you got game or charm
This channel is making me think if I should be a teacher. Im not sure if I could though :(
ОтветитьI love these 3 together!
ОтветитьI’m sry my gay heart gave and Tyler are too fine 😅
ОтветитьHiiiiiii Mr.Lorax
ОтветитьThey’re never in Miami Florida😭
ОтветитьLove yall! Middle School teacher here. My favorite word to use is nincompoop because it sounds fake lol 😆 😂
ОтветитьI love when they started talking about the slang because i know all of them because i am gen Z
ОтветитьI love Leslie
ОтветитьI had a student teacher that took over my class so much that our actual teacher stopped coming to class like my teacher really said free period and went and had a coffee
ОтветитьMe remembering my little sister telling my grandpa he had a 10 head 😂
ОтветитьLove this trio
ОтветитьI am an education majoring in English and I disk my observations at the school I graduated from and never got to engage with the students neither the hospitality I was not able to eat lucha because I did not know where and my mentor did not taught me anything .
ОтветитьLive laugh love them being so confused about Gen alpha slang lol
ОтветитьStudent, "Mrs. Richards come stand right here."
Me, "Why do you want me to stand there?"
Student, "Because you smell really nice and if you stand here the air conditioning will blow on you and everyone will be able to smell you."
Go the alternative route. I’m getting an alternative certification. I dove in the deep end and thought I was gonna drown, but I get a teacher salary.
ОтветитьZillennial here (born in '99 and should technically be elder Gen Z but my nostalgic memories and personality traits are leaning towards Millennial) and I have NO idea most of the Gen Z and Alpha slang terms are. It seems a lot of them are borrowed/appropriated from LGBT and alt-right incel communities as well as video games. I know that I'm a Zillennial because I still use "swag," "lit," "YOLO," "turnt," "SJW," and "rawr xD" unironically. Like what the hell is "fanum tax" and "skibidi"?
ОтветитьWhat does "sigma" mean nowadays?
Ответить
