currently had this now and it's so painful

My ear feels itchy and I feel like wet dirt is inside so I use cotton buds to clean it. I overdid it and hurt my ear, the next day when I wake up I already feel an inflammation inside. Can this be treated without professional help?

I have been watching all related videos but I can't help thinking that these professionals talking bollix.
I am adult and I have extreme pain in my left ear. I have been taking antibiotics spray and tablets for the last 8 days and I haven't had any results. For the results of constant sharp pain I have been taking 9 tablets per hour which 3 ibuprofen and 6 paracetamol. The pain I am going through I can not help thinking that you all including my gp are useless and that education on you lot wasted!

I'm experiencing it now..my head is totally aching that I couldn't sleep because of the pain in my ear and head and also in my jaw..I can't open my mouth wider or I can't speak loud because everytime I speak my head and ears are aching ..I'm super nervous right now..I just have eardrops that the doctor recommended for me..but it doesn't lessen the pain..and swelling..I'm 3 months pregnant so the doctor did not recommend me to take oral antibiotics ..I feel so helpless..I'm just praying that the baby in my womb would not be affected by my stress..😔🥺🙏 I hope and pray that we all be healed in Jesus Name..amen..♥️🙏

I had this happen to me I drained it with tea tree oil and warm water it worked cleared it in a few hours it will sting at first but it will heal rapidly try it

Been having pain inside my ears for 20 days and in 2 days were going to the doctor and I hope it all goes well. I'll comeback here.

I am just now getting over an ear infection. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! I didnt have much pain but I did have pressure in my sinuses and my balance was off pretty bad for about 6 to 8 weeks. My doctor said mine was caused by allergies. Omg. I DO NOT!! Want to go through this ever again. Not being able to feel normal and constantly dizzy for weeks was exhausting! Good luck to everyone!!!

I waited six months to feel better. I got ear infections from allergies last summer. Massage and physical exercises helps. Avoiding salty, coffee and chocolate helped. I thought it was major case of hearing loss and vertigo. Thank God I feel better now.

I've had OME for 5 weeks now (fluid in ear without infection) and it's absolute hell. I feel dizzy all the time and can't focus on things. it's like someone has drugged me. The fluid has cleared up but I still feels the same 2 weeks later.

Im never sick. They gave me anitbiotics but i also have a swollen cheekbone putting more pressure on my ear. I dont know if the drops enter the middle ear since its so swollen i cant tell. Due to this otitis middle ear infection my father is suffering from hearing loss and bells palsy....doctor operated my father left ear...now he is better without any pain but he lost his hearing😢😢😢 it's very difficult to communicate with him.. .The doctor said that my father needs 6 weeks to recover from an ear infection.

Ive been suffering for years from this constant sound in my right ear it is very loud and it makes me feel dizzy and sometimes too much dizziness makes me puke. I dont know how i get this, my right ear cant hear clearly and its affecting my job. I read some of the comments here and some of it is related to whats happening to me, i got problem in my nose too, and i dont know if it's sinus infection or nasal polyps. But maybe i have nose allergy cause i have extreme sneezing if i smell pepper, dust strong smell from spicy foods or perfume .... Hope anyone can help me😢
