I think the centralized clock system actually showed betting time cutoffs back in the day.
What I ponder, is the fortunes won and lost there. The desperate, the savy, the lucky who came and went over the years. This was the place the upper crust and the destitute mixed.

Got some abandoned places in Perth but the majority of them are fairly well known so they've either been completely raided or trashed, it's saddening to see.

I wonder why this place isn't as tagged and otherwise vandalized as most other abandoned places. Even the glass windows are intact, and no visible signs of illegal partying. How is that possible?

Not surprisingly, I saw lots of mold on the walls. That's not good for you guys to breathing that stuff in. You really should think about wearing masks when you go into places like this with a lot of mold growth.

It's disgusting to see so much trash from the past, and the lights are still on. They made tons of $$$$ and ran away leaving the dirty work to someone else. Sick azz States every where.

while it was failign as a horse track it could have survived as a go cart or some other kind of race. but sadly I think it's beyond saving. the amount of money to just repair the place would be too much so its likely doomed to be destroyed at some point

No joke I think because this video the place was completely trashed all the windows are broken, the clocks are broken (not sure if they are even there anymore)

I wish they could go back and see the destruction of the building in the past year. I have gone many times before and after this video being posted. and can really see how bad this building had been vandalized because of this videos popularity. Every window and piece of furniture is destroyed and burnt. All winthin a year after this video came out

I remember going to that race track when I was younger, though I don’t remember much about it. I do know that I would see it when I went to the Hammonton mall across the street. I never thought I would see a place I had been in one of your videos. Very cool

I used to go out here all the time, like I must’ve been out there 2 dozen times 😂 might as well be a tour guide at this point. Lately we haven’t been able to touch that spot every time I try to go out there some awnry prick chases us out with a pickup truck screaming and yelling. We ain’t there to steal break or vandalize it’s just a cool spot to show friends and fellow explorers. Besides everything is wrecked anyway I’m pretty confident that the amount of windows left to be broken is in the single digits 😂

Mattresses in a box are a total scam, hoping that no one is actually considering those. 4 year purple mattress owner here, my wife and I wake up every morning with aches and pains. A “good” mattress is never going to be foam or rubber and it’s never going to be cheap.
