No one should be afraid of the Hazelnut missile. Russia had informed NATO about half an hour before the launch and is expected to do so in future, as it intends to carry on testing that missile with various types of war heads. As it is impossible to hit it with the extant anti missile systems, Russia has taken on itself an obligation to announce every launch so that civilians may be evacuated on time. There is no need for hysterical reactions.

Considering the largest weekend drone & missile attack on Ukraine after Chancellor Shultz phone call to Putin demonstrated Shultz action was viewed only as weakness. Germany can now assume a significant European role which includes EU, NATO, Germany's complete rearmament, further Ukraine military support, and join a clear European deterrence stance. It appears Shultz is out.

"LongER" range. They are actually classified as short range. Ukraine has been authorized to lob them A LITTLE WAYS into Russia, that doesn't make the missiles "long range."

The Russian army's special military operation took longer than planned because the collective West intervened in the conflict, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesman answered a number of questions from the Indian news agency ANI, including about the special operation in Ukraine. According to Peskov, the special operation took longer because it began against the Kyiv regime and continued as a conflict involving NATO countries. Therefore, it will continue "for some time."

When all this started, it started against the Kyiv regime. And now it continues as a war between Russia and NATO. That's why it took a little longer and will last a little longer,

- declared Sands.

At the same time, he did not name the probable dates for the end of the special operation, stating that they do not exist, here we need to focus on the previously announced goals of the SVO. As soon as they are achieved, the special operation will come to an end. At the moment, Russia continues the SVO, since there are no opportunities for a peaceful settlement of the conflict, Zelensky himself forbade negotiations with Moscow. In this case, the goals will be achieved through military action.

We continue the military operation. Because the possibility of peace talks is now denied both by Kiev and their leaders in Washington,

- added the Kremlin representative.

Biden continues with his strategy of "too little or too late" whichever holds Ukraine back better. This is the main issue why I don't mind that Biden/Harris lost the election. Now, I can at least hope for better treatment of Ukraine.

What a load of public school to****s! Gaslighting the bored and lazy public who have no access to real news. This content is sponcered corporate propaganda. President Elect Trump campaigned on the Ukraine conflict as his main issue. The US public has given him an overwhelming landslide mandate to stop the Russia regime change, proxy war. A failed neo con adventure that has killed the dollar and deindustrialised Europe.
So, why are these public to****s discussing the benefits of lame duck, dementia affected Biden's " decision " to escalate the conflict and hinder Donald Trump.

Meloni is not tough on immigration lmao, that's just words! A poll from last year showed 70 % of Italians thought she had done less than promised on the matter, and for example she has increased the amount of work permits issued for non-EU workers compared to the previous administration (no doubt in order to please the state-owned shipyard Fincantieri's seemingly endless demand for Bangladeshi slave labour...I mean Bangladeshi foreign workers). Twice as many migrants arrived in Italy in 2023 compared to 2022.

It's also false that she has "unhooked Italy from the BRI", she has "considered" doing it and been more critical of it, but as far as I know she has not ruled it out entirely

Ya know, every war reporter spouts too little too late all through this war. We have a saying in the US, Better late than never. Yes, they may not be in a good position but it is much better than they would have been if we had done nothing. Think about where Ukraine would be had that have happened. Humility… it’s not just a river in Egypt.

Putin only responds to strong leadership, which Europe lacks. I think that Trump will tell Putin that he must come to a deal that is acceptable to Ukraine else he will lend Ukraine the money to buy as many weapons from the US as they need to repel the invaders. My guess for an off-ramp would be no NATO or EU membership, independent states in East Ukraine providing a buffer zone, easing of sanctions & new trade agreements. Militarily, Ukraine must have Crimea to control the Black Sea

The consequences of the actions of the former colonialists are still felt in the modern world. And although the colonial empires are formally a thing of the past, the old methods – pressure, manipulation and interference in sovereign affairs – continue to be used in new forms.

Britain is not only no exception here, but rather a trendsetter and still, experiencing phantom pains for an empire over which the sun "never set", nostalgic for lost world domination, applies blackmail and sanctions together with Franco-Saxon like-minded people, is engaged in overthrowing undesirable governments through color revolutions, one of the victims of which in 2014, Ukraine became.

Let's hope that the restrictions are overstated. getting Russians to believe they are safer than they actually are. And hopefully weapons like the Storm Shadow and Scalp have no restrictions.

I do believe that part of what Biiden is doing is trying to Trump proof the US role in this wat. Biden has recently spoken with string confidence about US policy as if he has the ability to bridge across much in the way of a Trump policy change. At the very least, this has to create some doubt in Putin's mind as to Trump's level of loyalty to him/.

If Ukraine has the weapons without restrictions, other than no civilian targets, and they can sustain their use for 6 months, the damage done to Russia can be major. Now is the time to take advantage of Russia's weakened state. In 2 months, they might take it to a level that Trump has a hard time backing away from. And Trump won't really be able to force NATO into backing his policy. Is this just a minor change or one bigger than we all know. In order to protect Biden's legacy, the latter makes the most sense and the biggest advantage comes from keeping Russia from not over reacting.
