still confused on how the detect ability works.. it doesnt seem as if it makes noise if hes facing the direction of someone and im not sure if the amount of time that passes before the next ping means their distance? Also i dont see anyone pop up on the radar so if anyone could explain to me how it works id be grateful. also i downloaded this game and went to play it and it just gets stuck on the starting screen HAHA im actually so mad i cant play.. looks so fun.

Happy New Year Everyone! I haven't played this game so this is just an observation. The game looks very fun HOWEVER, there doesn't appear to be much if any recoil at all.......all you folks that have been grinding PUBG for 4+ years are going to destroy everyone.....Jus' sayin'

I think they need to make recoil more realistic and some bigger fall DMG and add some limitations on shift run.. would be over all better.

From a PUBG veteran who was against this game at first, I'd suggest people to try it, it is surprisingly fun, the gunplay, movement and overall feel of the game is VERY similar to PUBG especially early on in a round. The crafting makes the loot RNG (which is a big pain in PUBG) much more bearable, and so does the personal crate. And the abilities don't kick off till about a third of the game (unless you are obscenely lucky with pills) , the first third is simply gunplay with light buffs. As for the abilities , aside from the Seeker which is unbearably OP in solos and duos, the others are pretty fun overall, especially in squads with the chaos it causes. I can feel some balancing issues with a few others, but nothing as grave as the Seeker in the last few minutes, some characters deal incredible damage or are tanky as all hell, but nothing beats the element of surprise via quasi wallhack with the Detect ability. The Heartbeat sensor is very strong, but it's very situational and close range only so I don't feel like it's broken on it's own. The combination of both together however... I feel like the two abilities should be split, together it's way too strong. Overall tho, this game is free right now, try it out, you lose nothing but a bit of time and frankly I really like it, can't wait for the first balance patches to hit for this game to really take off.

I suck pretty bad at PUBG, my biggest problem is that I only have time to play a few matches of anything a day, and I would go weeks sometimes not playing and then play a couple matches.. never played enough consistently to get good at it. THIS looks amazing, been following this game for awhile now and it looks like a better version of PUBG. BUT, knowing me, and how frustrated I get after dying early 2 matches in a row and then quitting the game, I can only imagine trying to learn a game where people have experience using super powers LOL I WISH I had the mind set to just keep playing a game and fight through the frustration to get proficient but I just don't have that. If I could smoke weed, then I could do it, but I can't. That was always my GO TO when I wanted to really concentrate on something and no matter what, wouldn't get frustrated.. it made my brain behave almost like a normal persons brain LOL sadly tho, they have not legalized it where I live and I have too much to lose to risk it these days. I'm not a kid anymore. My GF reminded me today when I told her I was thinking about playing Tarkov again but knew it would be pointless cause I suck at it, and she told me it's cause I don't have time to play the game long enough to improve. It's not that i don't have the time, I am off work 3 days a week, it just comes down to the fact that I get so frustrated and quit playing. Also, playing games like this, pubg, Tarkov.. I always felt like I was being watched, every second and get very paranoid. I know there are people out there that know what i'm talking about and suffer from the same thing, but the vast majority would just say "GET GOOD" They have no idea how lucky they are not to suffer from mental health.

Heartbeat sensor should be similiar to Pulse's HB from R6. Not a consistent indicator, but flashes from time to time.

Is there anything you can do to counter the Nuke? I'm so tired of being in a building and dying to a nuke. Its so OP. They need to either decrease the size of the area or increase the time before it hits.
