Good tips, Brandon. I save my old credit cards and the fake ones I receive in the mail to use as spreaders. I can just toss them. Pinking shears give a serrated edge for heavier spreading. Stay safe (double safe). Bill
ОтветитьRemember kids, keep your forehead safe.
ОтветитьNicely done Brandon 👌
ОтветитьThat’s where my tape went
ОтветитьAwesome video! Make those chunky legs!
ОтветитьHey Brandon, how do you like those Jorgensen P-clamps. I'm looking for good square clamps. Amazon has some Bora clamps, there's Bessey, and I just heard of these Jorgensen. Are you sponsored by them, by chance?
ОтветитьI'm dumb so I'm probably the only one who doesn't know what kind of wood that is. Ash? Hickory? Hard maple?
ОтветитьGreat video !!
ОтветитьAwesome vid. I would love a review on that planer. I want one so bad, my wen works great but snipes like a bitch!
ОтветитьDo you get a lot of snipe on the DW735?
ОтветитьHow do you decide the orientation of the boards before glue up? Just based on aesthetics, or does the grain direction come into play to account for wood movement so the boards don't split later?
ОтветитьWhere do you get your dimensional lumber? Big box stuff doesn't look anything like that.
ОтветитьHi how are you. From Argentina I wondering the name of the clamps you attached to the table saw fence wich push Wood to table top. So nice o checked all yous links and there isnt there.
ОтветитьIs there a reason you don't joint and plane the boards before you glue them together? What if the faces you glue aren't flat?
ОтветитьDo you make all of your table legs?
ОтветитьThat's a cool miter saw... I've never seen one before!
ОтветитьAfter getting your two square sides on the jointer, why switch to the planer and not finish on the jointer?
ОтветитьWhy not get 4x4 which will be stronger?
ОтветитьWhy not just buy 4x4s?
Ответить4×4 or 6×6 would more easier, convince and save money
ОтветитьMild anxiety 😂 I had no clue some people don’t do it this way, I’m always running both sides getting in a nice groove flipping pieces and trying not to trip on the dust collection 🤦♀️
ОтветитьHandy info. Thanks!
ОтветитьA video for all the people who own a table saw, mitre saw, joiner and planer but can't make simple table legs.
ОтветитьWow I need a man lol
ОтветитьWas this just made from 2 by construction lumber?
Ответитьdouble safety glass, double protection.
ОтветитьHave thousands of dollars worth of special equipment. Got it.
Ответить4×4?
ОтветитьGonna bring up some old shit. But I love my Cruzer. Shadow Line is great.
ОтветитьWoodworking is an expensive hobby. If you don't wanna invest in tools, then this isn't for you. Stop complaining! These are basic woodworking tools..
ОтветитьWhy glue the together instead of just using a 4x4?
ОтветитьYou basically joined a 2x2. Why not just buy a 4x4 ?
ОтветитьI’m making my first woodworking bench. I don’t have any of these tools or saws. How would I attach legs on my workbench easy without this stuff?
ОтветитьWhile I love how you made the table legs, I still have the problem of a leaning desk lmao. Original just used 2x4s I got from a pallet, and crudely cut to roughly the same length, and angled. Rocked due to the inch difference in length from two of the table legs, and 3/4 inch difference from the other two (only had a sawzall oof). Tried making a new desk a few years later, about 5 months ago, and it turned out amazing, aside from wobbly legs. I was hoping to make them removable, but honestly think its a lost cause at this point, and that I just need to screw the legs in.
