100% agreed! This guy is absolutely SPOT ON! Things are getting truly moronic and now White straight Western men are the problem? The same men that literally created the developed world! That created Art, Engineering, Electronics, Computing, the Olympics, modern language, Trains, Buses, Airplanes, Cars, Bicycles, roads, bridges, huge churches, incredibly beautiful buildings, modern medicine, pretty much every invention ever created. Without White Western men where would the world be today? Just one look at Africa, Afganistan, pakistan and other 3rd World places will show you perfectly!
ОтветитьLeft's favourite "Divide and concur rule". yup India suffers from that till this date though it's more about religion and classist 😢😢
ОтветитьWell said
ОтветитьI wonder why americans call "the left" this rhung about identity politics, and even sometimes "comunism". While in true communist countries like china, they dont have this thing.
ОтветитьThis gentleman articulated the Democrats problem perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThe large ridiculous specs don't detract from the fact that she is unhealthily overweight and talks shite
ОтветитьI never imagined I would have voted for Trump as President but "woke" insanity drove me over the edge. Hope Trump wins in 2028 too!
ОтветитьWho TF is he? Go back to where you came from.
ОтветитьI like watching him and I like his debate style but saying that identity politics wants to give a certain group more than another group is nonsense! When he says more...does he mean equal?? Does a gay couple want "more" than a straight couple? Does a person of colour want "more" than a white person? If you think yes, then you are delusional!
ОтветитьDuh! Got it at last. Marxists been dividing men and women, christian afaibst Christian, brother against brother, father against son and mother against daughter so that pedophiles and drugs dealers could enjoy abusing our children. GEDDIT?
Ответитьshe is blinded by her hatred. Im amazed there was a clip where she didn't rudely interrupt
ОтветитьThis reminds me of a quote I read in my 20s in a book called Freedom From The Known by Jiddu Krishnamurti: “When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence”. That quote alone shook my entire perspective.
ОтветитьThat look she had at the end, the engine was running but no-one behind the wheel.
Ответитьhmm, what he doesnt say is "i as a member of a VERY privileged subset of society am willing to share some of that privilege with everyone". Protecting that existing privilege is just as much identity policy as trying to reshuffle the deck in someone elses favour. So he basically does exactly the same thing she does, he is just articulating it better.
ОтветитьDon't bother she doesn't understand you , her mind is clouded by bitterness menopause and she gravitates to a less intelligent crowd so she can feel superior to them .
ОтветитьTo be clear that is just a subset of the left. Identity politics is garbage but that’s not what progressive means. It’s about money not about identity and there are idiots and smart people on both sides of the spectrum but one side of the spectrum wants to see people healthy and able to afford to live. The other side wants to put more money into the hands of oligarchs.
Ответить💯
ОтветитьShe fits the stereotype perfectly. Even down to the idiotic glasses
ОтветитьShe's was clearly shaking her head in denial
ОтветитьIronically, identity is a conceptual tool of capitalism to eliminate reference to material and economic facts. The last stage of extreme capitalism is its self-identification as the left or anti-capitalism, so that it preserves itself by constantly posing as its own enemy, to push aside its actual enemy: truth.
ОтветитьIt's not "what it sounds like", it's what they actually want.
ОтветитьIdentity politics is alive and well on both sides. Just look at trump supporters. The main issue is one he brought up. The problem is the people that assume that for the world to be better for subsets of the population, they have to lose something. It's not a zero-sum game. An example is gay marriage. How does a gay couple being allowed to marry have any negative effect on any other part of the population? Your religion is irrelevant in the conversation.
ОтветитьNo i mean, his assumption is mostly correct. I believe religion and identity should not be restricted, one way or the other, through politics.
However, the problem is, the framing News channels and people in general put it, is political inherently.
And the other issue, is that it is also inherently a political issue, due to the structure of the laws prior. IE: Being gay was/is illegal in several states internationally.
Beyond abolishing restrictions based solely on identity or religions, i agree it shouldnt be political at all, but till then, it will stay that way inevitably.
How could you take someone wearing those glasses seriously. Looks like when a carton wolf has its eyes pop out of its head over a pork chop.
ОтветитьThe left are actually far less concerned with identity than the right are. The left define themselves through collectivism - its why they support others expressing their identity, and fighting for others to have their rights recognised even if they don't share in that identity themselves.
By contrast the right define themselves by exclusion and by denying others rights, denegrating or demeaning the chosen "other" of the day to push for low taxation and enable wealth and resource hoarding by a powerful minority.
In the last 100 or so years, right wing politics in the UK has sought to demonise or deny political representation to... Trans people, Asylum claimants, Muslims, single mothers, Gay men and women, Asians, Black carribbean migrants, Hippies, Irish migrants, Women, non-property owners, the working classes, Jews and republicans...
There is always another identity for the right to be whipping up hate about.
No, that's not one of the Left's points of focus, never was. Attributing the Right's rot to the Left is a brilliant move, though.
ОтветитьI dont like her at all. I find her annoying at best. Having said that, what this guy is saying here is insane. Of course equality for women or minorities means taking away something from the people that hold it now.
If a gay person gets married, the church loses power. If a black guy or a woman can get a white guy's job, they have to compete. The issue is that some see people that ask for roghts as someone cutting in front of them in the line.
As soon as it just starts to equalise things; there Is so much opposition to it. The truth is that the speaker liked it When racism and divisiveness was rampant;
ОтветитьExactly why Triggernometry is the best podcast out there
ОтветитьI like Morgan Freeman's idea, just stop making it an issue. Base your ideas actions not on race or any other way to separate people and do it on character alone. Which is the same thing MLK said back in the 60's.
ОтветитьHe has to group everyone into either the left or right. Then he goes on about how bad identity politics and dividing the population are 😂
ОтветитьToxic feminism is destroying humanity
ОтветитьJust shaking, waiting to interrupt 😅 she could barely help herself. She looked like she was gonna burst 😂
Ответить15-yrs ago... "Don't Label ME!!!"
ОтветитьKonstantin Kisen is totally wrong here. The left have not made problems over the last 10 years at all. They have been making problems for everyone else for the last 150 years at least!
Not often he's wrong at all, but in this case terribly wrong.
It’s not identity politics that’s the problem it’s the affirmative action or positive discrimination that comes from it. We are all free to express ourselves and if people feel they are discriminated against then they have the right (and we should encourage them) to express their dissatisfaction.
The problem is that when special rules are put in place then it’s just another form of discrimination. All it does is create seeds of unhappiness in other places.
You don’t want your identity to be well protected because it already is. I’ve seen a lot of clips from this interview now and I actually like a lot of the points he has made, and I care a little for her interviewing style. But this particular segment starts to fall outside of intelligence analysis once it fixates on identity politics like it was solely born out of a progressive political agenda. We can see on the right how loyalty and identity politics take over as well. Right wing American nationalism can be just as divisive as the realm of hard-core identity politics on the left. But I think a key difference is that at the core of identity politics is the aim to create a more level playing field, rather than posting superiority and champion ignorance. That’s not to say that left policies and voices within the greater culture war don’t share the blame for divisiveness. But I hear the clam about the left infatuation with identity. Politics quoted too often by scholars from the other end of the political spectrum, who usually, and conveniently leave out the bulk of its inception: as a communal, almost tribal, response to heavy inequalitybased off of these things that this guy just listed – race, gender, roles, sexuality.
ОтветитьThere is an infinite number of ways to divide people. If you start giving out privileges by group divisions, you will have an infinite number of ways to sort people to make them 'fair'; which they will never be.
ОтветитьThe right are far more obsessed with ‘identity’ than the left, honestly. They whitter on incessantly about immigration and ‘indigenous cultures’ being ‘eroded’. Unless you are obsessed with identity, none of that stuff matters.
ОтветитьYeah stupid white folk think that if we try to be more inclusive to black folk ,then we are taking something away from them 🤣🤣
ОтветитьThus the fault is peoples stupidity, and NOT equal opportunities.
ОтветитьСпасибо за гостя, Юра! Подписалась на его канал
ОтветитьEqual under the law. That’s all we want. But to give groups ‘protected’ status, while technically not removing rights from other( though sometimes it does involve suppressing those right) gives those groups preferential rights over others.
Here is an example. Beating up a man because he is gay is wrong, and the perpetrator should be punished to the full extent of the law. But, getting in a fight with a man who is gay and then being charged with a hate crime is wrong. This is something that happened here a few times.
And now, one state in particular has passed laws stating that any altercation with someone of a protected group( be it verbal, physical or just disagreement of something unrelated to characteristics that make their group protected), can and will be punishable as a hate crime. And, to make matters worse, those of protected groups are exempt from being prosecuted by that law.
So, if someone comes up to you and starts to abuse you and you tell them to F off, well, you just committed a hate crime if they are female, trans, non-white, gay, any religion( not Christian), or any other kind of ‘protected’ group.
That’s equality.
I watch most of ur videos but im scared ill throw my Phone in the Wall watching her lol
ОтветитьJordan Peterson has the data from the 20th century experiment....
Millions died
Obamas trying to start a war his putting together a faget and freak army.
ОтветитьIts not eben that they will take from you, but that they expect you to be indentured happily to work for the chosen minorities.
ОтветитьThose glasses (frames) have gotta go! They do not reflect intelligence
ОтветитьThe Right have been doing this for decades quietly, though. The left is now doing it loudly. We sure do love our Us & Them mentality.
ОтветитьLove you guys..I have been there from the beginning ❤️ awesome to watch you grow and succeed! K called it from the get go I recall 😂
