Beken - Guita Mwen, Boutèy Mwen

One of the true Haitian Troubadours, Beken made a breakthrough in the Haitian Music Scene around 1988. It's important to point out that shortly after the departure of Baby Doc (Duvalier), there was a musical revolution where many artists and groups have emerged bringing new blood to the Haitian musical genre. It was around the same era that Beken launched his first album, which became instantly a smash hits.
Amputated of his right leg following a car accident, Beken used his guitar skills and his unique voice to charm the Haitian audience.
