I've never seen this particular twist before, but I'm loving it! I've got a three-candle stand project coming up and I've been contemplating different twists to decorate the long center bar. I do believe I've found the answer! Thanks, John!

So, if you, instead of just a chamfer or rounding on the unchiseled corner, you do a fuller down the length of that corner. The groove that would create in the end piece would be interesting. I really need time to get out into the shop so I can try this out!

That's a gorgeous twist! If you textured the chiseled up corners to look like rope it would be a stunning accent!

I have a question about your blacksmiths magician are the dies that you make are they made of tool steel or mild steel or do you taylor it to the application.

Congratulations on your 10,000 subscribers and I love the twist I’ve never seen that before you should have a series on nothing but twists I’ve done twists with chisel down the center of all four sides and also pineapple twist but this opens up a lot of possibilities thanks John
