I'm running a 12v system in our trailer for day to day use. 1600w in solar, 400ah in lithium batteries and a 2000w inverter. It's not just a back up solution if power goes out which is rare where we are, but we actually use it everyday for the last 2 years now. Sure I could go 24v/48v. But we are happy with this system as it is at the moment. Yes we will upgrade to a 48v system for larger loads like washer and dryer for power outage if needed. Good job on the video.

I got the outback flexmax 80 charge controller just for the ability to change anything up 12-48 volt
Currently im on 1200 watts with 1200 amph hours of batteries. And 2 1000 watt inverters. All at 12 volts
Its been great for 5 years now .
Not saying im going to brake even on cost in a few years but heck better than the 40 dollar delivery fee for useing 30 dollars a month of power .
