I believe that because of the flat side of the stick rule, there are no left-handed sticks.

regarding this recent incident which a boy in a girls high school team hit the ball a bit high and it hits girl on the face.. is that legal play in field hockey? obviously if anyone takes a high hit to the ball it can hit anyone in the face. I think this was an illegal play because there were many girls in the zone and anyone could have been hit in the face.

Can anyone explain to me why you can´t use a lefthanded stick? I once tried field hokey and I almost crippled myself, thanks.

WHY do the goals have the wooden base. It's so UNSATISFACTORY to see the ball bouncing out after a goal
