Went from shopping on facebook for a $500+ version of this to watching your vids for the last hour. I have 2 extra 32 inch tvs and a ton of plywood just sitting around already i bet i could build a less fancy version pretty cheap. Gonna do some sketching tomorrow. Subscribed

Lord I wish I had an industrial cross cut sled. I have a worksite saw I built into a table, maaaaybe ill try cutting out the back door on that and clamping some straight edges. Or see if I can plunge cut with my circular saw . I'm super annoyed that it'll might take me 2 sheets to get this done and even MDF is nearly 40 bucks a sheet now. But ah well, it'll be worth it.

excellent video brother. wish you could sell the cnc plans to cut the piece for the controls or at least the printable drawing that could be traced to the MDF

Hey there, Awesome build. I just built my first tabletop arcade. and i was wondering what speaker system did you end up using. You mentioned that its a bluetooth system, but i couldn't see what it was. having bluetooth in mine would make it multi purpose. !

Is it complicated to do a cabinet with a coin slot receptor that works with almost every arcade games...just like game over and you put a coin in to continue or to start another game. or is it not possible? Btw. I don't like the coin slot receptor they sell out there (looks cheaply made)..I want the one you'd normally see in the old arcade games with the door. that's nice.

Well...if you use raspberry pi you can't run high demanded consoles like N64, PSP, DC, PS2, GC, Wii, 3DS..if you run a PC you could run almost everything but the downside is that you'd have to deal with heat it and it costs more..you need at least a mini pc or so.

I've seen some people who made cabinets did not bother to make a bezel..they just took a monitor and stuck it in. So when you look closely inside you'd see the brand of the monitor..so funny

What's the total depth of this cabinet with control panel installed? By my measurements off your plans it looks like 40". Love the design but it looks really massive. Wondering whether control panel can be made shorter

Great video. It's basically what I want to make except have a track ball and light guns. What raspberry pi did you use for this? I ask bc I've seen performance concerns with having 2 monitors hooked up for the marquee.

Do you notice any performance issues displaying a picture on the marquee monitor while running a game?

Thanks and great video

How is your joystick/button reaction? I used the same HW in a mini NES case some years ago. It has very noticeable input lag. Did you run into this and if so what is the solution? Thanks.

Ive done something very similar. My advice to anyone that isn't as handy with building a cabinet would be to buy a old worn out arcade cabinet and refurb it.

So one thing I'm noticing is there's plenty of room for a kegerator and mount the tap on the side. I'll add that to my notes.

Amazing job! It certainly shows (me) how much detail and woodworking still is needed to make it look really great. So, um, 2 questions:

1) How much does it weigh fully assembled? This guy will clearly be study as heck... but that means that it's probably several hundred pounds fully built?

2) ... Is this at school? Do your kids get to to play with the end result?

May I ask why you mounted the power input so high on the cabinet? It seems like it would make more sense to have it lower to the floor. Less weight hanging on the C13-C14 connection, etc. I assume I am missing something in regards to your setup?
