5 Best Midsize SUVs In 2024 You Won’t Regret Buying

I am looking to buy a new SUV in 2024 for my wife and I am having a slightly difficult time choosing between them. My current favorites are the Mazda CX-5 or CX-50, the Toyota Highlander or Grand Highlander, or something else similar.
... What I want is the part that makes my decision difficult.
#1 Reliable, dependable and able to buy it for $40k or less, prefer less
#2 Power and Heated seats for driver and passenger, maybe some lumbar support too
#3 Naturally aspirated motor is preferred
#4 Comfortable and Quiet in the cabin
#5 A standard 6-sp, 8-sp, 10-sp transmission preferred, no DCT but might consider the CVT
#6 Three row seating is not needed but would be okay
#7 No Electric Vehicles
