Third Age 'The Way We Were' Living History Project - The Ceramic Hot Water Bottle

In 2022, Scéal Heritage Consultancy worked with Third Age to create “'The Way We Were' : A Living History Video Project".

The project created a series of teaching and demonstration videos for Third Age’s intergenerational living history project “The Way We Were”. In this project, older volunteers visit schools in the region to teach children about the past through antique and heirloom objects collected by Third Age. The series created fourteen videos (for circulation to local schools) where the Third Age volunteers introduced older objects that are no longer in use to a school-aged audience. The project was supported by the The Heritage Council’s 2022 Community Heritage Grant scheme.
