A New Type of Wood!! | Woodworkers Source Unboxing/Finishing

Today I'm trying out a couple new types of woods that I've never used before! We have some Roasted Red Oak, Roasted Dark Dark Walnut and a piece of Hickory.

I ordered these wood blanks from Woodworkers Source because I wanted to see how dark the wood actually became after applying a finish.

Spoiler alert... The Roasted Walnut turns jet black and the Roasted Red Oak turns a dark chocolate color with hints of red. Both woods look amazing! Lets not forget that amazing campfire smell!
