Ice Age was made by Blue Sky Studios, which was basically 20th Century Fox's equivalent of Pixar or Dreamworks. They're mostly known for creating the Ice Age and Rio movies. However in recent years Disney bought out Fox, so now Disney owns Blue Sky and the rights to the Ice Age franchise (which they kinda ruined later on)

Ice Age a hidden gem? It was one of the biggest and successful movies of the year when it came out and had several awards and nominations, though it lost out on the Oscars.

I remember before Bluesky Studio closed, the animators made 1 small film where Scrat finally eats the acorn as a farewell gift to the audience

Scrat can’t die & I am glad about it, I actually feel so bad for him especially in 1 & 2 1st movie got me scared of him getting crushed in the ice, the 2nd one I won’t spoil

I've seen this movie, though, and I love it when I was a kid.

Also, sid was a giant ground sloth , and second, the saber tooth tiger has another name called " smilodon ", and scrat is a saber tooth squirrel.

And third, the 6th ice age movie is coming soon and I'm so happy the ice age franchise has returned.😊

That mammoth in the cave painting flashback was manny, he had a wife and a kid once, but they both died, as shown in the flashback, that’s why manny kept pushing others away, so he couldn’t get hurt again

A ridiculously popular film that spawned a franchise with four sequels is a “hidden gem.” Of course xD

Ironically, the original idea and concept of the film was for Diego to die in the first film, but the creators changed their mind because of the children's audience, it would probably make a lot of children cry. the later films wouldn't be the same without Diego being present.

It made my childhood.

Fun Fact: Zeke is voice by Jack Black! (His first voice acting role on an animated movie ever, before he voice Bowser, Po the Panda and yes even Lenny the shark!)
