In all fairness mate when you said 1600Mah lipo on a 1/10 truck I knew it was gonna be down hill.. It's wannabe Hobby grade at best... Like you say mate, Why can't these companies just be honest and what is wrong with their QC?

When you flipped the motor wires around did you try reversing the channel again? The esc may ‘think’ the car is reversing so limiting the power level when going forwards. You can usually tell if it’s reversed from the operation of the brake.

I found this for 80usd and yeah not even worth that. Thanks for the video.

Thats still ok, I paid 304€ for ZD racing and it died first run 5min in the run. Driveshaft broke and rear dif...

Jeez.... for that price there are a lot of better alternatives. Some who are also absolutely not perfect, but still a lot better then this. Here's to hoping XLF does something with this info and improves it (always like to give budget rc company's a chance), or that nobody will buy it and be very disappointed as a result.

Thanks for the video! I was actually wondering about these trucks the other day, specifically the brushless versions. Disappointing yes, I think the Flyhal FC100 is a better pick up, it’s the same size, but cheaper, and seems to be significantly better. I think the steering issues stem from sloppy steering (low part tolerances), and a not so good servo.

These look very similar to the GPTOYS Models, but these were so much better a lot of metal like gears shaft bottom plate real 6 oil shocks two motors and good big esc I can drive them even on 4s only the same shi.... Tyres 👌🏽😁

I bought 2 Arrma Granite Voltage RCs for myself and my grandson for just a bit more than this 1 truck. Admittedly the Voltage is a rock bottom entry level model but we've had a blast with them and they have held up well. Good honest review as we have come to expect from you. Cheers from the US.

Definitely one to miss this one a mate lol, at the start of the video I was thinking either your hands are HUGE or that’s no 1/10 model, why to these manufacturers keep telling these lies just call it what it is, a 1/12th scale, no one would care if they was honest, I quite like the colour to be honest but that’s about it, another thing I had it the fact a 1/10! Or should I say a 1/12 scale model coming with and being limited to such a small lipo battery.. well bud no one can ever accuse you of not being honest in reviews, I knew you are anyway due to chatting and past videos etc but this is yet another video that proves it.. hmm Ricky do you thing if will make an ok door stop or not? 😂😂

One thing that you said in this video that I totally 100% agree with, is why do these companies keep claiming it's a 1/10 scale when it's clearly 100% closer to a 1/12 scale. That's definitely a bad way to build trust with any new potential customers. If it's 1/12 say it's 1/12. Now we know what we are buying with our hard earned money.

HBX and Wltoys is the only budget brand that doesn't/rarely have this basics problem, such as scales size

BAD cheap RC .we both have this and the FC610 of flyhal . Run for your money. Go get Fc610.

I ended up buying one for £33, I feel like I can't go wrong at that price. Probably end up swapping the stock electronics out, add oil shocks and jobs a good one 😖😆🤣

What do you think of the XLF X06? What is going on with some of these cheap RC companies lately? False speed/scales, cheap plastics, friction shocks.. come on I know these are cheap but there are some great cheap RC cars out there including the HBX and some of the Wltoys which are cheaper than this! Cheers guys
