What to Do in the Organic Garden Every Day

Its nice to see that its not just my garden that looks like a jungle allthow its all dying back now as its been a bit cold but still have to do a lot of cleaning up and spred my compost ( two year old woodcips about 36 sf)

I would harvest first. Next, I would pull out all the brown leaves and dead plants. That way you get pumped up, then killing bugs will be less burdensome! I just started gardening. You inspired me, and I can't wait for the production like you have!

I wish I found out that you'd like to use some volunteer help on your garden.
I've been researching for years because I wanted to grow my own food but no experience, so,I wanted to learn more by help n learn from someone who knows well.

Put a couple chameleons or geckos in your garden they'll eat up those hornworms!

John, love the POV and always the great advice. Wondering if there is a way to tell when your videos were filmed; is there a date somewhere? I see it says late summer in the description of this one but a lot of the videos aren't labeled. Just curious.

How do you fill the beds that have so much growing in it? Do you have to take out the irrigation to fill it?

John, could you make some start-up videos on how to grow grape vines? How far apart to put the posts, what kind of wire to use, how high to put each wire, what kind grows best in different zones, pruning (first, second, third year, etc). Thank you.

don't forget the horn worm. How do you deal with horn worms? I've found just one tomato horn worm can destroy several tomato's and tomato plants in day. If i'm paying attention the bare spots will show where they are at. I've tried using yellow bulbs outside to reduce yard lighting that attracts the hawk moth and have had some luck with just that.


Thanks again for all your thoughts esp teas and rock dust this year. I'm using Boogie Blue water filter and Boogie Brew teas. Also you might look into "Advanced Nutrients" (AN) i believe you would understand better than i the finer points of what all of their work means for the Backyard/sq ft gardener. I'm going to add AN' Ancient Earth to my Boogie Brew and maybe a separate feeding altogether
