It sounds great, the only problem is the 90s ruined the sound of plug in acoustic guitars. No amount of effects can cover that sound up. I think a mic in front sounds much more natural than a pickup in a acoustic.

Thanks, Doug, I use a similar set up for a lot of my recorded tracks. If you're playing an acoustic guitar, with not a particularly good tone (like my Snapdragon travel guitar), you can improve it significantly with the app Fiddlicator, which was originally designed for violins but is basically an IR loader with EQ, reverb and delay. I load in some Martin acoustic guitar IR samples (from Sigma Audio I think) which gives a much better tone. I also like to use my fx in series as well as parallel and use another send bus but mix everything to a single channel for overall level and fx control. The Eventide apps are great, as are FACs (Transient gives a nice swell pad effect) but my favourite is Bram Bos Kosmonaut. For more textures add MIDIGuitar 2 and your favourite synths. You can easily end up not sounding like a guitar at, perfect for non-keyboard players! One useful tip is to record the dry guitar signal so you can subsequently do a remix if you want to change the soundscape. Also useful if you want to edit out mistakes and bum notes! Much easier to do with the source audio rather than trying to do that in a mix full of delays and reverbs!

Check out the Midi Guitar app. Tracks poly phonically and sounds really cool.

So what’s the guitar output? I”m guessing it’s one of those built-in piezos with the 2/3/4 band EQ on the top side; if so, that’s good clean right hand work.

For a non guitarist you sure sound like a GUITARIST. just playing with my new keystep, with my crave, but you have now inspired me enough to get my midi guitar down from the bedroom.
