I have been guilty of thinking my DM isn't into me, but that rings true. I do feel my TF is fearful of me rejecting him, or such a big life change to be with me, or a combination. I reassured him I never would. He could never lose my love, ever no matter what. I trust that the gods will help him come forward at divine timing. If it bothers him until he moves forward, I support him by being there when he is ready. I know my DM loves me unconditionally, and that's enough for me. Sure I'd love to be with him physically, but that's up to him. I am always receptive to his efforts.

I believe it's a combination of fears of maybe rejection, past problems, and possibly for safety considering who and what he does.
