Safety tip no 1: a practical set of mirrors.
ОтветитьMy training was on my dad's bike, trained by the man himself! I was 14 then!
ОтветитьThanks for the heads up for the other channel !🙏🏽
ОтветитьDid the subscription your content is spot on brother!
ОтветитьJust got a 2015 yamaha fz07 as a first bike a couple days ago. So much fun
ОтветитьI was thinking of renting a bike after my MSF. Some light 250 to work on my skills until I find the right deal,
ОтветитьI bought every piece of gear before even getting a motorcycle or doing the manditory 12 hour course here in Belgium. Spent about $1500 on the gear and the course costs another $1400 and I don't even have a motorcycle yet :( SO EXPENSIVE
ОтветитьThank you for the tips. I have been watching your channel for over a month. You have great content. I have been waiting on my MSF course. And your videos have also helped me. I have been practicing on my dirt bike in the yard lol.
ОтветитьWho doesn’t have a motorcycle but loves watching these bike learning videos
ОтветитьIs full coverage worth it on a motorcycle that’s older than 15 years old
ОтветитьOr, how about buy the gear first, then wait 1 more months salary, THEN buy the bike..
How about that?
If a person isnt mature and responsible enough to figure that out for themselves, they shouldnt get a bike.
I just rode my 2020 Vulcan off the dealer lot yesterday, never rode a motorcycle before in
my life, years of driving manual car definitely helped, thank you to your channel, I am scheduled for the driver course, but I couldn’t wait the 2 weeks to take the bike home lol.
Bought my first bike a week ago and loves this channel and MCRider. Great info on both.
ОтветитьJust bought a bike a week ago and haven't rode much due to my work schedule. Stupid question/observation: does a motorcycle clutch last longer than a vehicle clutch/pressure plate? It seems riders need to use the clutch a lot.
ОтветитьRiders should always start on the left foot. :-b
ОтветитьDon't you mean start on the left foot...down? 🤣
ОтветитьDan, buying a new bike in the next week or so. I'm also in Tucson. Want to drive it to my house for me? 😊Lol
ОтветитьWhat's up!! So I just recently bought my first bike ever ! 2021 lowrider s, and I wrecked that bitch on the way home from the dealership. I've been watching your videos and they have given me confidence to keep practicing and great info for beginners like me. I appreciate you bro, thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for this man. 🙌🏼
ОтветитьI made sure to have my buddy ride it home for me
ОтветитьJust a small bike a 150 scooter but even though I can ride a 38 mph ebike I was scared of riding the scooter due to weight and fear of leaning. I could go up and down the street but had to duck walk the turns. I decided I needed to go around the corner and force myself to get comfortable with turning the scooter. I had my wife follow me in our car. I got through making the block twice then went the other direction twice around the block. This proved to me I could do it. You can do it too.
ОтветитьI rented a u- haul motorcycle trailer to take my bike home
ОтветитьTried to get in a course for my area and they were booked thru the fall. Simply a lack of locations covering a massive area. Being free is all good but I also wish there was paid courses for those who just need to get it done.
ОтветитьI have just bought my new bike, taken home ~60 miles away, got caught 2 heavy showers on the road. It was so much fun :D
ОтветитьWhat kind of go pro are you using on your helmet?
ОтветитьWhat motorcycle are you riding? Sounds beautiful
ОтветитьCan definitely tell all these videos are making me more aware of roads because anytime he was doing slow turns and the camera couldn't see the road I internally stressed out because I couldn't see if there were cars coming haha
ОтветитьBad habits like constantly taking your hands off the handlebars and talking with your hands? 😂
ОтветитьSometimes if there's a lot of traffic instead of trying to make a left across both lanes of traffic and find a place to pull out... I will make the right turn go down the road a little ways hang a left into a private parking lot or Street and turn around continue the direction I wanted to go.. much better than trying to find a space crossing both directions of traffic
ОтветитьI bought an ebike recently in Ottawa Ontario Canada here it’s a. Moped style but it’s capable of doing 40km top speed and has a 64- to 65km range I’ve been riding now for 3months and 13 days it’s been really nice I’ve practiced a lot in the parking lot before I even brought it to work went out few times to other places outside of work thanks for the great content I’m going to look into doing some Motorcycle courses in the future gain some new skills
ОтветитьThank you great advice , got my license and a full face Harley helmet but haven’t got a bike yet😏😊
Ответить😂 only did a Safety course and got my endorsement. 3 month later I bought a 94 Honda Magna from a private seller that lived 150 miles away. I had to ride the motorcycle on the interstate with speed limit of 60-70 MPH. Most terrifying thing for the first 40 miles. When I got back to my home city, I stalled 4 times before I got home cause I forgot to go back to first gear. Compared to motorcycle that we had to use in the course, the Honda Magna was very powerful 😅, when I first rode it I just twitched my hand and that shit lunged. Seriously, learn from me and take it slow.
ОтветитьI got my bell helmet from Walmart for only $70
ОтветитьAre MX gloves good
ОтветитьHow come your bike has only one mirror. My Sportster Iron has two and I can barely see over my shoulders .
ОтветитьAmerican Choppers gloves 😘
ОтветитьIf you want to take a course?? It's crazy that this is an option! Course and exams for bike should be mandatory, maybe less people would die.
ОтветитьPractice in empty parking lots in a quiet neighborhood. No traffic and no nosey busy bodies, watching you and making you feel uncomfortable. ✌🏽👍🏽
ОтветитьFor slow stuff and turning tight and slow isn't it, clutch friction point, throttle and rear brake for slow maneuvers?
ОтветитьGreat video. This is the exact scenerio I'm in right now. Thank you for the video.
ОтветитьWHAT HELMET IS THAT
ОтветитьDon't u have to have a license in USA then?
ОтветитьI bought a used bike and just borrowed a trailer to tow it home. My riding test for the MSF course took place during a storm with high winds and rain so that made me think "at least all riding I'll do now will be easier than that"
ОтветитьI know you call yourself a fireman but at what year did you retire? You can't be an active fireman with that beard... yes I'm a fireman.
ОтветитьCul de Sac = Ass of the bag
ОтветитьSo you guys don’t have to take motor driving lessons in the US?
ОтветитьMy brother, who rides, rode mine home. I’ve been practicing on the nice days. I got a bike helmet, motorcycle jacket with armor, and motorcycle gloves. I need to get specific armored pants, and motorcycle specific boots. The ones I have now do have ankle support and leather, just not bike specific. I’ve been practicing around the neighborhood to get comfortable, so I can take the MSF course and not be intimidated with anything, since I am pretty new at riding.
