Nixon a republican by todays standards would considered a tree hugging liberal.

I agree with:

1. Taxation policy of the Republicans. Govt should not tax everything from small businesses and the middle class, rather let us keep the money so that we can do good for ourselves. Minimum taxation should be done.

2. Healthcare: I think investing in health from any point of view is a plus side. A govt. Medical insurance for all and an employer-employee based insurance, from situation to situation, we should have both of them implemented.

3. Same sex-marriage: I'm For it. We should respect a person's right to build a family of their own.

4. Abortion: I'm pro choice. Govt should not be including themselves into personal family conversations.

5. Immigration: I'm for Legal immigration. I do not believe in Illegal integration which is completely different from Assylum seekers and refugees, which I wholeheartedly support.

6. Millitary: I support strengthening the military for national security.

7. Environment: I believe in the shifting towards renewable energy for the protection and conservation of the environment. Climate change is real. The evidence of it is the green seen on antartica for the very first time. It turned green due to rising heat which melted away the snow. This caused the ocean to rise and tsunamis to follow.

8. Gun control: I believe in stricter regulation for guns. You cannot let a crazy person have them. Strict security checks should be done.

It's absolutely crazy that republican states won't allow ex-convicts to vote in elections, but would allow them to purchase guns This needs to change.

That’s probably why I’m neither a Republican or a Democrat. There is so much historical nuance in both parties; it’s hard to put your eggs into one political basket.

- support for abortions
- supporting Medicaid
- promoting universal access to medicine
- support for public school’s

I honestly don’t see why anyone would oppose the GOP. My guess is that opposing the GOP means more government benefits for lazy blk and wht Americans. I think that’s what’s keeping the dems going

Before my college graduation with B.A. in double-majors of Biology and Chemistry from Gallaudet University with my Class of 1981 in Washington, DC, I strongly opposed Reaganism but I boycotted the beginning of the Republican presidency era when the new US President Ronald Reagan took the oath in front of the US Capital on January 20, 1981. Aftermath I lost my good chance of getting a good paid job as a biological scientist or research assistant in the US governmental agencies due to the bigger federal budget cuts expected the defense agencies in military- industrial forces in Pentagon and in the US Department of Defense. For our deaf citizens and other citizens with disabilities, Section 504 as a forerunner of ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990) was declined as the US Congress failed as the US President Ronald Reagan in the White House last vetoed.— Well, I really don’t trust the Republicans anymore.

We've had 3 recessions , after 1992, 2005, and most of trumps term. So I haven't seen prosperity than , but hardships. Great video. Long story short: this is much better than the Left-wing, democratic party. The only down side with the right wing is it's strict rules on immigration and it's huge support of the military. People don't like war and we should welcome new citizens.

When I was still growing up and had limited knowledge about these type of topics I considered myself siding with the democrats and I know thats because I was exposed to celebrities singers actors bands etc they were my role model before and I always see them supporting democrats but now that I'm an adult and capable of doing my own fact checks educating myself I can now clearly understand the reason why Im now siding with republicans and support their principles I want good and greater things not only for myself but for the whole country. Welfare is not bad but it shouldn't be the only thing to do if we really want to help others.
