Ответитьi wonder what king charles thinks of this, i wouldnt step in any pool river stream or sea in england and the ecological damage is now so not reversable this septic isle
ОтветитьWe made a lot of mistakes in Scotland but the water was kept in public ownership which has been shown to be a wise decision. Our water and waste disposal is not perfect, but what a mess privatisation has caused in England.
ОтветитьWe should teach our new citizens how to use water. It must be hard coming from a country that is 3000 years behind us.
ОтветитьWait till the illegal invasion grows and grows and grows and grows, this wonderful country is heading for a third world country , REAP WHAT YOU SOW UK ? James Stewart x soldier UK, REFORM
ОтветитьThis shows how the government identifies the population as turds. They do hold you in contempt forget that at your peril!
ОтветитьWish I had the money to leave this cesspit of a country.
ОтветитьWhen water boards were privatized the water bills got more expensive and people accepted that because the driver for privatisation was that the private companies could update the infrastructure, but instead higher bills have been funneled into excessive corporate profits for executives and share holders
ОтветитьInfrastucture just wasnt planned for the amount of people drawing off the system, both water and sewage are under extreme pressure.
ОтветитьWhere is OFWAT and the ENVIRONMENT AGENCY during these pollution incidents and not to mention the current DROUGHT MEASURES?
ОтветитьThe water Companies do NOT for fill their obligations correct and therefore should be made to either do so or be taken over for the sake of the environment, water is too precious resource to allow people to make vast profits from.😡
ОтветитьPut your water, electricity & gas into private (greedy) hands, what could possibly go wrong🙃
ОтветитьThe great Tory greed companies, sticking one up the British country and public
ОтветитьThis was no mistake. It was a planned stripping of assests.
ОтветитьAn overcrowded little island! The sun has set on the empire!
ОтветитьI used to fly all over the UK in light aircraft and you could often see the darker lines of colour across fields where the water mains are leaking beneath. Very common sight.
ОтветитьCountry has been butchered by the Tories from all angles in the past 13 years wherever you look.
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьIts got nothing to do with 30 years of privatisation and lack of investment or the fact the population has exploded due to immigration. Lets not mention no new resovoirs since 1990. You know what i blame Brexit.
Ответить£1.6 million pay for a useless failure who is "proud to have contributed" just shows how corrupt the public utilities have become. Instead of spending money on what they were supposed to do - repairing leaks and sorting out the infrastructure - they only take pride in how much they can pay the donkeys at the top.
ОтветитьPrivatisation has NEVER benefitted the public and this is a prime example of the cost of privatising utilities.
Ответить636 thousand inward net migration last year alone. A country destroyed.
ОтветитьForce them to do their job properly and if they fail/refuse, nationalize them.
ОтветитьWater privatization was always flawed. No competetion for a start. My water supplier is an accident of geography not choice. Provision of clean water and removal of waste for the benefit of the community was the whole point of the Victorians when they established the current water systems. Its therefore surely the water companies core business requirement and any upgrades should come from their profits and investment. Invest to grow.
ОтветитьYou brittish people are absolutely mad accepting to have politicians SELLING your country's important functions to crooks, and slowly bleeding the society to death .
EVEN THE CAVE PEOPLE HAD MORE SENSE !!!!
Get BlackRock! If good enough for Zelenskiy to change the laws in favour of BlackRock! Then should be OK here!
ОтветитьIt's simply looting of the public purse by companies who are in cahoots with the government.
ОтветитьWater, electric, gas, trains and buses should all be goverment run...
ОтветитьFind all the CEO's. Stand them up against a wall. S_ _ _ _. Seize their bank acoounts. Seize the bank accounts of the shareholders. Nationalise the water companies (and railroads, and Royal Mail). F_CK THE TORIES.
ОтветитьInnit 😊🤘
ОтветитьWhen the boss of one water company is paid £4million it can't be a bad job can it?
ОтветитьPrivatisation never works
ОтветитьWell, this is the entire Brexit regime's attitude towards the rivers: don't care.
ОтветитьIt’s simple. We needed to invest long term in the infrastructure back in the 80s. Thatcher chose the privatisation as the solution. It failed miserably because there was no profit in improving the systems. Then successive Governments turned a blind eye. Basically , as a country we just didn’t bother to invest in our future. Nobody bothered to point it out. We naively trusted our leaders that they would never let this insanity happen.Don’t blame the water companies. This is on all the Governments since 1980. As a country we fight over health , water , roads , railways etc.instead of planning. Everything becomes a political battle and common sense gets drowned out. We are a very strange nation. So patriotic when it comes to certain things , but unable to grasp the basics. If you don’t spend and invest in your future services and infrastructure then it will come back to haunt you. Many other countries seem to be able work this out. They get on with things whilst we fight and stay in denial , and our broken voting system is ripping us apart. We desperately need PR to force parties to cooperate on long term projects.
ОтветитьRIP of Britain seems to start with the government and ends with the Government and the public have No say in it, Change his not happening they have their own agenda we play No part in it still one rule fo the another for
