As a Bosnian and someone who cried my eyes out when we got to reach the world cup for the first time it has been rough watching how fucking horrible things have gotten... a lot of it is politics that have dragged us down as we keep switching coach's and deal with constant in-fighting with the officials in the association...

Extremely wrong description of Velez as a club. It's not a big Bonsiak majority. During the war we had a legendary trio that played for the Yugoslav national team that was nicknamed "BMV" which was Bajevic (orthodox christian), Maric (muslim) & Vladic (catholic christian). Velez was, and is, a club for everyone. That's our charm. We are not like Zrinjski.

Politics + Corruption = The Shocking Downfall of Bosnia's National Team

The minority of croatians and serbians are doing this to Bosnia with a clear aim to destroy it or like now robbing it and exporting everything to Serbia and Croatia.

In last 30 years neighbour countries like Serbia,Croatia took mqny players who are born and even raised in BiH.

It is easy, offside against Nigeria started the demise, then we fired the only guy who could lead this team
,then politics started to interfere once again and now our football is shit , we are literally again at the starting point (similarly to WC 1998 qualifications or even better Euro 2000 qualifications ).

Blaming the war for everything is still present in our society and that is the first thing that should go away.

Late Osim was amazing man, he didn't think as we think here probably because of his heritage, "Those who can't run can't play" is sentence i still remember and also his stance against siege of Sarajevo even though he could have everything in Belgrade.

I suggest in starting to solve hate and problems in Bosnia go educate these people that they are same ethnicly as DNA proves it 100%. So muslims maybe finally realize they have common ancestory with Turks as chicken has with a pig. If educating is not enough then let Serbs join Serbia, Croats to Croatia and leave these muslims live in peace and ignorance. But of course thats not what NATO wants as its goal is weak and devided Balkans. So there ya go. NATO falls Balkan slavs rise. NATO rises Balkan slavs devided. We balkan slavs are not stupid. Its just we got brutally separated from each other by great powers and targeted by heavy indoctrinations for centuries without a break so we lost our identity as slaves are not allowed to read or educate themselves. And identity crisis is the worst. Yugoslavia project almost solved it and brought slavs to their roots and increadible glory, but of course NATO didnt want to let it happen so they weaponized fate and religion. Go read penthagon documents saying exactly what i just said. They wrote if they dont destroy Yugoslavia and seperate these states it could become one of the biggest NATO opponents. So its not about Bosnians or Serbs or Croats, but its about the biggest power in the world USA as its minions EU and its geo political agendas that gets its nose into other people business and one day that nose will bleed for sure.

In Bosnia, half of the country doesn't care about their national team. Very simple, they don't consider themself as Bosnians. Only Muslim population considers themselves Bosnians. In the end, they were the ones who started the civil war in Bosnia.

Football federation is politically manipulated and corrupted....

Vico Zeljkovic has a unique mission, given to him by his uncle Milorad Dodik, to undermine Bosnian football in general and particularly Bosnian national team which was a source of pride for all who like Bosnia, all in one combined effort to show that Bosnia is a failed country. Zeljkovic is not a lone warrior in this. He is very much helped by corrupted Bosniak officials who only look after their own selfish interests and Croatian officials who couldn't care less what happens to Bosnian national team and Bosnian football in general. Besides looking after their own selfish interests as well. Aside from the Bosnian football federation's shady businesses, Bosniak national footballers simply don't commit themselves on the field. They look TERRIBLE! Compared to Croatian national footballers, they simply lack patriotism and selfishness. They are too calculated. Traits that have been common for all generations.

Bulgarian national team could be a nice addition here too. We never reached heights like 1994, but previous decade we were ranked 16, after which we flopped ever quicker & harder.. Ours can be a lesson to other successful small footballing nations too.

Downfall...? They qualified for the European playoff. They were beaten by a weak Ukraine team who have three superstars. Bosnia in my opinion were a better team. Iceland will eat Ukraine in the final playoff match.

Srebrenica was NOT a genocid and no woman and boys as you said was killed. Fighting age males where killing Serbs around Srebrenica for years and those where actually killed. Serb from Republika Srpska here and Bosnia is not a country
