Ответить2024 anyone?
ОтветитьListening to the lullaby
OF CARBON MONOXIDE.
Stop w the censorship.
See you guys Feb 12th, y'all got me through a lot and you are getting me through a nasty divorce, keep playing music for your fans that have been with you since the beginning ❤
ОтветитьLyrics are amazing In this song
ОтветитьI still remember being 19, grabbing this album from the record store and cruising around a crisp fall morning in my Saturn soaking up all these amazing songs. This one hit me so hard, especially with everything going on back then. Of course that seems like rainbows and unicorns compared to what we are dealing with now. Which is what brought me to this video. The war of hate is becoming so loud, it's deafening.
ОтветитьThere's a beauty of this comment section not tainted with a X-year who's still listening.
Thursday forever.
Love this
Ответитьremember, it wasnt a phase <3
ОтветитьFrowcone - War All The Time (Official Music Video)
ОтветитьAnyone here because of the drones?? 😅
ОтветитьWhy would they remove the "carbon monoxide" lyric haha. H-Bomb is cool though.
ОтветитьOur 18 yo dayghter and i were watching The 100 espisode where they turn off the fresh air and kill a bunch of volunteers. I mentioned not sitting in a running car in an enclosed garage because this similar thing would happen and played this song.
Wish they wouldnt have edited out the CO part. I mean, i guess i get it from a legal pov but it makes a song that hits hard, hit a little bit hotter.
ON AND ON AND ON AND ON!!!
ОтветитьMy first concert, Coheed, Thrice and Thursday at Stubb's in Austin, fall of 2003. All three bands had just dropped some of their most iconic albums, what a fantastic show.
ОтветитьDamn standing on the edge of the palisades cliffs hits different with the fires.
Ответитьwhy would they censor words in this song... so dumb
ОтветитьI grew up a mile away from three mile island!! Middletown Pennsylvania! Swam in the Susquehanna so I’m immune to everything life throws at me!! Lol
Ответить2025❤
Ответитьi cried when you guys played this live…
ОтветитьAs of the 15th of this week, theyre still a top tier force to be seen live..2024 was no different.
Geoff is the crowd commander with absolutely no effort, bursting with high contagious energy, huge genuine smile & his hand movements n gestures are make you fight the air a bit.

ОтветитьStanding on the edge of the Palisades' Cliffs
In the shadow of the skyline very far away
Like a lightning rod that couldn’t pull the storm from me
I was 5 years old, my best friend's older brother died
He fell from these cliffs
The river washed him away, the current pulled him downstream
And our lives float in the headlines, so we park these cars
Parent’s garage
Listen to the lullaby
Of carbon monoxide
War all of the time
In the shadow of the New York skyline
We grew up too fast, falling apart
Like the ashes of American flags
If the sun doesn't rise
We'll replace it with an H-bomb explosion
A painted jail cell of light in the sky
Like three-mile-island nightmares on TVs that sing us to sleep
They burn on and on like an oil field
Or a memory of what it felt like
To burn on and on and not just fade away
All those nights in the basement, the kids are still screaming
On and on and on and on
War all of the time
In the shadow of the New York skyline
We grew up too fast, falling apart
Like the ashes of American flags
And we’re blowing in the wind
We don’t know where to land
So we kiss like little kids
We used to be very tall buildings
We’ve been falling for so long
Now your eyes are a sign on the edge of town
They offer a welcome when you are leaving
War all of the time
In the shadow of the New York skyline
We grew up too fast, falling apart
Like the ashes of American flags
The pieces fall it’s like a last day parade
And the fires in our streets start to rage
So wave to those people who long to wave back
From the fabric of a flag that sang "love all of the time"
War all the time, war all the time
All of the time
War all the time, war all the time
All of the time
All of the time
War all of the time
War all of the time
War all of the time
War all of the time
2025 just saw them in Los Angeles and they played this song last. Chuldhood memories
ОтветитьThe shitpost news headlines get closer and closer to reality each year rip
ОтветитьThursday is now pro-war and anti-free speech. Typical development for leftists.
ОтветитьThis song hold so much deep meaning. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏 I watched Coheed and Cambria, and Fall Out Boy open for these guys. What a fucking beautiful song! Brings me to tears often. LOVE YOUR COUNTRY! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW PRECIOUS IT IS! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏 NEVER TRUST THE GOVERNMENT, BUT REMEMBER JUST HOW MANY MEN, AND WOMEN FOUGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM. Unknowingly some other messed up crap as well, just don’t take it for granted.
ОтветитьTo know that my favorite band made a video with my apartment complex in the back round. HOBOKEN!!!!!!! 12th and Washington.
ОтветитьWhy was carbon monoxide censored?
ОтветитьI can’t believe I’m going to see you guys live in Orlando. One last time baby I’m going hard as a mf.
Ответить2025 <3
ОтветитьSuch an underrated band
ОтветитьThis album dropped 6 months before Afghanistan. We've been at war since. All of the time.
ОтветитьIt’s an inside job
ОтветитьIts so weird. Never been a fan of Thursday and if I listen to their other songs, it just doesn’t hit the same but this one specific song plays in my mind since the very first time I hear it. I still like this song as if I just discovered it yesterday. Isn’t this just crazy to you after all these years you still got goosebumps? Damn.
ОтветитьOne of the best songs ever made
ОтветитьShit hits even harder in 2025. Free Palestine, Sudan, Yemen and all occupied territories.
ОтветитьRIP Dan I know you loved this song
ОтветитьThis song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I was 16 in 2001 when 9/11 happened, and it had a significant effect on me mentally and emotionally. Now, with the state of our country, this song breaks my heart even more. Anyone who was of a certain age on 9/11 and was affected by the experience understands exactly what the lyrics are saying. Geoff is an incredible lyricist and musician. This album is still beautiful and relevant to this day, 24 years later.
"The pieces fall, it's like a last day parade, and the fires in our streets start to rage. So wave to those people, who long to wave back. From the fabric of a flag that sang, 'Love all of the time'".
Man this song just took me when I was younger back then….its crazy how fast time flies….its 2025 and I miss these times…🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
ОтветитьHeard this eighteen years ago and still get carbon monoxide daydreams.
ОтветитьWhat the F happend to us. Time goes so fast.
