the stats dont show all of it but holy crap najee is insane, his perfect blend of elusive power and reciving are incredible to watch

Steelers Nation knew that this was a must win game if the Steelers were to have a chance to make it to the post season. After their terrible performance against Cinnci, Coach Tomlin called for practices in pads. The players expressed that they enjoyed practices in pads. The media and some former players said it’s time for Ben to retire because he’s hurting the team. The odds were against them winning against the Ravens. Ben put on a statement performance that said to the football viewing world, “I ain’t done, yet,” Having T.J. back was huge. The defense went full beast mode and made their own statement, “Not happening. Not today. Not in our house.” I’m so happy for the team and especially for Ben because they needed this type of performance and they delivered.

Ben has been such a treasure to have. I was 11 when he made his first start, I barely know the Steelers without him. I'll be bawling when he retires, but so thankful for the big guy. 2 out of 3 Superbowls resulting in W's shouldn't be taken for granted. Big Ben you're a Pittsburgh legend at this point.

Also hats off to Diontae Johnson for overcoming that drop earlier in the game and finishing strong, what a beast!

With all due respect to Ryan Clark's statement. Ben didn't win this game. He's still right.

Ben is better than Peyton Manning at this juncture when Peyton won his second. If Ben has a run game- even a little-, competent play calls and an O line that will block he is still a good QB. Better than 3/4 of the league. He should come back when there is more time to build a supporting cast around him.

It's playoffs for them from here on out. Feels like 05 getting it together down the stretch. We need tuitt back to make the d line complete.

Have there been any trade inquiries for Mason Rudolph? No? Then you can't sit Ben and start THAT guy. Don't get me started on Haskins! Can TJ Watt win DPOY if the team misses the playoffs? From the sound of things, that was Ben's last home game against the Ravens. It was a very significant win for Ben and the Steelers. I missed OT at work to watch this game and it was worth every lost dollar...

Well, is Ben hurting the team. How about no. NO. Ben has given everything he can to this team. For at least half a dozen years or so Pitt had the best wide receiver, the best running back, one of the best offense lines, and a good defense, and Ben was in the top 5 qb’s playing (I say the best qb playing many of those years). And with all of that going, we couldn’t win a damn playoff game. Mike Tomlin should have been fired 8 years ago. They have played each team at their level. Remember playing a nail biter against the patriots or the ravens and then coming out the next week against an 0-8 crap team and losing? Do you remember the “we don’t have a QB sneak in the playbook” game? Do you remember Todd Haley coming back year after year past his shelf life? Do you remember the countless games they were unprepared, out coached…? Do you remember last year’s playoffs loss to the freaking Browns? And listening to tomlin’s post game interview is enough to make a Steeler fan hang himself at the snack bar.

I came to the conclusion a few years ago. The Rooney’s are making boat loads of money, sell out stadiums, have fans that will travel hell and back to see them play, they are too comfortable. They are perfectly happy with being mediocre has been. They will not fire the affirmative action coach, after all, what would people say? Woke before woke was woke.

Now Ben is in the last year on the field and the team will not see a QB anywhere near his talent for a long time. Remember Mark Malone, Neil O’Donnell, Bubby Brister…? Get ready for another 20 years of average qb’s. I hope Ben stays healthy the rest of the year and leaves walking out without injuries. He has sacrificed enough. The fans have sacrificed enough.

Ben Roethlisberger there have been MANY TIMES that you have showed US as Steelers Fans your HEART but for me it was vs the Browns in December 2011. When I saw the leg injury at the end of the second half where it looked SO BAD almost to the point of a season or career ending injury!!! When I saw you come back on the field ready to play after halftime I cried like a baby & INSTANTLY KNEW that you were one of the GREATEST Steeler's QB's in HISTORY to EVERY put on a Steelers Uniform PERIOD!!! They can call Tom Brady the goat all they want but not ONCE has he been able to play with an OUNCE of HEART like you have PERIOD!!! If someone FARTED too close to Tom Brady on the field he would be INJURED for 2 weeks minimum!!! Also let's not FORGET as NO ONE EVER talks about this man suggested & took a PAY CUT to make room under the cap so the team could have room to pay other players!!! Did the SO CALLED goat TOM BRADY do that for his team NO he LEFT the Patriots to go to Bucks for more money!!! They call Tom Brady the goat but he's more like a GREEDY PIG that has NO LOYALTY to his TEAM or FAN base and SOLD OUT for a PAYDAY!!! this was my first steelers game. born in pittsburgh but moved to charlotte in 2009. traveled all the way up there and the crowd was crazy. the game was amazing and the atmosphere was something i hope to experience again. love steeler nation and im glad i got to see ben play before he leaves.
