Portrayal glory days have long been lost. However, they are trying to revive it with the opening of a cruise ship pier. A lot of work has gone into the beautification of the community, but I think a place with so much history earning potential is not maximized. Apart from the historical sites, the beach is amazing, potentially being a hit for travelers looking for a laid-back vibe. Gloria's seafood is one of the best thing about that place.

We know now that Morgan was a horrible sailor and navigator and sunk several ships on the coastlines because he couldn't even navigate a safe place to land. Because there were prostitutes and the freedom to drink alcohol on Port real we now know that it was a very wealthy and sophisticated City. What Christians dictated was punishment for their sins hold no water now. George Washington's father was building Monticello at the time and George Washington became an alcoholic tycoon during his presidency. And Americans who were working in the United States in the early 20th century who were mostly men literally took an alcohol break via citywide bells. Well I guess this is documentary is pretty old now. CRT would really help. 😂
