9 Day California Road Trip (Day 7): Ferndale and the Lost Coast Drive

As we are off to Ferndale, my friends, a gateway to the Lost Coast - an undeveloped area with some epic views and one long, narrow, windy and full of potholes road. Ferndale itself feels like a hidden and unexpected jewel. It’s a town with some fantastic Victorian style elegant homes, called Butterfat Palaces. The entire town is registered as California Historical Landmark!
