ОтветитьOy, dont use tape. You can get sheets of felt, project foam, even acoustic foam panelling, all will do the same job, better, and wont leave any residue or dried out adhesive dust all in your base.
Ответитьhow do I make my keyboard feel softer? I have a cybermouse keyboard?
ОтветитьI prefer the original sound but the new sound is also very nice
ОтветитьWhich type of tape?
ОтветитьCan I do the tape mod and foam mod on my keyboard or does it have to be one or the other?
Ответитьbut what if theres rbg ??
ОтветитьWhy edit the sound for the before/after? There is no background noise.
Ответитьshe talks like,jinx
ОтветитьMy keyboard came with foam sticked on the back 😢😢😢
ОтветитьI have don't that with one of my K1 Pro. But here you must check that the glue of the tabe is not an the black plastic from keys like enter, backspace, space, shift ... becouse the keys doesn't work fine, they are then stucke. Of you buld a non sticke mate with the blue tape.
ОтветитьNever thought the tape mod was this effective in removing the static noice from the microphone.
ОтветитьTY! 😁TYSM
Ответитьwhat type that tape?
ОтветитьDo we also need to remove switches before tape modding?
I have K2 pro with k pro browns, thinking to tape + foam mode. Thoughts?

sticky tape is bad. over time the tape will degrade and it will leave a bad residue on the PCB
Ответитьdoesn't it cover the rgb when you do this tape mod?
ОтветитьGuys, is Tape Mod dangerous? Because I've heard that their keyboard caught fire afterwards, I give appreciation to those who answered...
ОтветитьHas anybody used sound dampening material? The stuff that car audio installers use in vehicles, they line panels with it to avoid rattles and make the sound system in vehicles sound more dense. I went into our local AutoZone store to buy some but they told me they were no longer carrying it.
I'm curious how well it would work in a keyboard,
Never thought I would hear violet give me advice on keyboards, but it was actually pretty chill.
ОтветитьCan you pleaseeee tell me how to tell if a pcb has a battery I don’t want to burn my house down :(
ОтветитьDo not do the tape mod on a tray mount with cheap plastic it will break your standoffs.
ОтветитьI broke my keyboard OOF.

ОтветитьI had a redragon k552. I lubed KTT Kang whites and put them in, lubed the stabs and did tape mod. It legit sounded so thocky and all the upgrades only costed me $15
