So if a company does not offer a dividend, what is the value of a share. Why would someone care to pay more than you paid for a share even if the company is doing better. You have a piece of paper saying you own this share and can seemingly only use it by selling it to someone else to hold onto. Am I missing something because with out having some profits from the company a share seems pretty much to hold no use or value besides people for some reason willing to pay more for it later but with for no good reason.

I'm out here in 2020 getting into stocks during the ol coronavirus recession and I'm shocked these beginner videos have so few views! So helpful, so succinct, so informative.
