Ngl shadows of the erdtree needed something similar to this to atleast acknowledge in the main game you did the dlc. The ending was SO disappointing.

Sif’s howl and whimpering from remembering the Chosen Undead basically says to me “either finish what you started and let me join my master, or let me spare you the same fate as my master.” 😭

When the best boy looks at you, it looks like hes saying "You're not supposed to be here, why are you here?"

I like how you see Sif's eyebrows soften, and then at the end, the camera cuts away from Sif's eyes after she picks up the sword.

When you see such precisions like the emotions in Sif's eyes and the small whimpers he makes when he recognizes you...

But still one question remains...why is Artorias' greatsword so damn big in this fight?

Ever noticed that in the Alternate Cutscene when you fight Sif, he's not as aggressive. almost have the punches pulled sort of fight.

One thing I noticed is how Sifs howl in the normal cutscene is like a threatining war cry towards his enemy. But in the alternative one it sounds much more mournful and full of regret

what breaks me the most its that when sif realizes we are the ones who saved him in the chasm of the abyss, the chosen undead extends their hand like if they wanted to pat him and let him know that "its ok".
the character doesnt want to hurt sif, but because of the circumstance hes forced to fight you in order to not share the same fate as artorias, and you dont have much option about it.

“Oh it’s you. I remember you. You were cool. I’m gonna gut you like a fish.”

Prepare to cry

the leitmotif that comes in the background for a second really makes the alternate scene

Actually there was this theory running for a bit that the old wolf farron is actually sif still alive but aged too long in ds3

Wait, so how do you get alternate cutscenes, do you need dlc and kill artorias

It would be awesome if during the alt cutscene, Sif would let you have the covenenant and be a summonable ally during the Four Kings boss fight.

the way sif removes the blade in the second one kills me, he doesn't want to, but knows he must.

They shoulda just made it so that if you do the DLC, you don't have to fight Sif for the ring.

seeing Sif's different reactions back-to-back like this makes the thing even more tear-inducing. >_<
