In this video we explored "opposite emotions" on the wheel and used the example of disgust and trust. What opposite feelings or pair of blend of feelings are you curious about? Share a confusing feeling in the comments and we'll get your question answered.
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьThank you so mcuhs for putting this out there!!! your work is so inspiring! THANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьWow wow great learning
Ответитьthat was amazing 😢thank you
ОтветитьWell made content. Thank you
ОтветитьI got 2 minutes 27 seconds in before breaking down. I'm 35, socialized female. Why didn't my parents love me enough to teach me this? I know they couldn't. They didn't know how to love anyone, including me. But man, this video hurt a lot. Had to take a lot of breaks. Took over an hour. Reparenting yourself as an adult is hard. To anyone else out there going through something similar, you're not alone. There's other grown adults curled up into balls bawling their eyes out, and realizing how far back they have to start. But we can do this. One step at a time. We can mature. Just let this nice man's words wash over you, and let the grief happen. You're not alone.
ОтветитьOnly 79k views? This should be REQUIRED viewing in every high school and again in college. And once a year thereafter
ОтветитьMy v@g1n@ dr1ed up listening to this guy's voice.

ОтветитьI was searching on Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions and found out that video and channel. I appreciate the clear explanations, language and examples that made it so much easier for me to understand. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat explaination of what feelings are telling us.
Ответитьthis is a fantastic video - exactly what i was looking for, but the constant camera angle change is very very distracting.
ОтветитьThank you for the video, there is such a mess in psychology field in attempt to explain the difference between emotions and feelings, I wish more people looked into astrological archetypes as astrology explains quite well and easier in a way all that range of emotions and feelings, different states, through the archetypes of planets, their positions in sights and aspects between them, whether in the natal chart, timing, locational influences or synastry (compatibility) etc.
Ответитьi really like the analogy you use with regard to learning about emotions: emotions are like letters that compose sequences of letters (words) that produce specific outcomes
ОтветитьLove this video. Big aha moments for me of years struggling with recognizing and understanding my emotions. Can’t thank you enough! Wishing you all the best and much success!!
ОтветитьSo much thankful the way you are contributing on our Emotional learning.
ОтветитьThose suffering from OCD should not use their emotions as a guide to what is important. This caveat may apply to other mental disorders and maybe to personality disorders as well.
ОтветитьThis is soooooo good. ❤
ОтветитьThis is really good. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat video, so many gems, thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏 😀
ОтветитьDoesn't Plutchik consider lust or attraction as emotion and why?
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьWow! You say that “trust is embracing and connecting.” This is in stark contrast to the religious horseshit that “we must be willing to “jump off a cliff”/“make big sacrifices“/“leave our comfort zone”) to show our faith in “God.” OTHERWISE WE ARE NOT WORTHY OF HIM!
ОтветитьWhere is the link to the wheel?
ОтветитьThank you for a fantastic and inspiring video. The larger and more nuanced our emotional vocabulary, the more agile and aware we are in the world.
Ответить"Emotions are messages from us to us", "When you numb one feeling, you numb them all". Thank you for breaking it down. Mine is to embrace all feelings as positive and engage the world to be more of what i am meant to be. Powerful
ОтветитьI like this
ОтветитьYou should start a podcast!
ОтветитьSo helpful thank you.
ОтветитьAll feelings AREN'T ALL POSITIVE!! You need to learn more about this topic! Feelings of sadness, anger, hatred are all very NEGATIVE stop sugar coating it
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьWonderful video! Thanks for sharing all your great knowledge.
Ответить"The chemicals of emotions only last for about 6 seconds but our feelings and moods can last for much longer." "When we focus on one thing we ignore the others" "We need to be able to tune in, notice all of these signals, to be more awake in the world" get the energy to move forward to create what we're looking forward in our lives.
Ответить"there are over 3000 words for feelings in the English language"
ОтветитьJosh you're a G!
ОтветитьThe video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
ОтветитьFeeling gratitude for your video 😉. Thank you! 🙏🏼
ОтветитьThis video was extremely helpful
ОтветитьVery good explanation
ОтветитьI was introduced to the emotional color wheel and it's makes sense in color and as opposites for me to see a visual. The explanations really helped me understand a lil better. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThis is excellent way of valuing our emotions and how to handle emotions in this world where there is polarity and anything can lead to strong passionate feelings of left or right. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat an excellent explanation that is both clear and wise ! Much grattitude for this
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful video on the value of all emotions and cultivating the capacity to grow your emotional vocabulary and awareness. Thank you Josh!
ОтветитьSo once you write down emotions and expand them, then what? What's next?
