You should get a insta 360 camera
ОтветитьIt looks more like something to lock your wheel in place than it does a camera
I wouldn't think that's a camera even if I was looking directly at your chair
I'm not trying to be funny, but the thing about you that's going to attract people's attention in public is a man with no legs, not a camera...
ОтветитьIs it? It doesn't look very big on camera. I'd say it's less conspicuous than someone filming a selfie video on a phone
ОтветитьI actually don’t think most people would even realize that’s a camera, unless there’s more to it than what you pointed to? Because it’s black and sort of just shaped like a rod, it might be mistaken to be part of your adaptive equipment. Even if you’re talking to the camera, I think I’d guess is was for a video call or something before I’d assume someone was necessarily filming.
It certainly wouldn’t inconvenience me to see someone in their own area of a public space filming, regardless of the other details. As long as they don’t record me without consent, and they’re not really truly in people’s way, or doing something dangerous, I could not care less, personally.
I don’t live in a city, so maybe if you see influencers filming constantly, it would get more annoying. I’m just impressed people feel the confidence to record themselves talking to the camera in public. I admire that.
But I still don’t know that the new camera set up actually reads as a camera if you don’t already know.
Sorry, Spencer, you being inconspicuous is very difficult because you are such a beautiful person!
ОтветитьHow would your existing inconvenience anyone?
ОтветитьSorry but i would be too busy looking at your handsome face and charming smile to notice anything on your chair. Sorry but i am a total flirt.😂😂😮
ОтветитьPeople that it would probably be just considered part of your wheelchair, but if you don't want to be caught filming in public, then don't film in public.
ОтветитьI think it looks like a handle or remote for the wheelchair. Very inconspicuous IMO.
Ответитьbecause i don’t know much about wheelchairs or your specific needs, i would definitely assume it’s part of your chair! it also doesn’t even really look like a camera at all
ОтветитьI would not have known that was a camera! I don’t care if anyone films me in public. If I were ever to meet you, I would ask to take a selfie with you!!!
ОтветитьAbles dont know crap about wheelchairs. And they dont like looking at us disabled folks. I think youre completely safe. No ables gonna stare at you trying to figure out if thats a camera. Lest they be accused of staring at the guy with no legs.
ОтветитьTbh Influencers in the Wild is basically a billboard now. People pay to be on there rather worry about being featured.
ОтветитьAnyone who doesn't know much about wheelchairs will probably assume it's part of it
ОтветитьI work in healthcare and I would think that it was some sort of wheelchair accessories or aid. I wouldn’t think it’s weird at all!
ОтветитьI don’t notice it at all. Smaller than someone holding a camera in front of their face.
ОтветитьI’ve mastered the art of “I didn’t see that”. You’d be amazed at all the things I haven’t “seen” (I saw them)((I saw them all))
ОтветитьYou know what else is massive?
ОтветитьTbh it looks pretty normal! Didnt register at all as a camera, but as part of your wheelchair. Even could be something like a security device
ОтветитьBro should get those glasses with cams in them
ОтветитьIt looks more like a normal wheelchair thing, like a phone or umbrella holder or something or a handle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 100% valid to feel uncomfortable about, but as someone who notices every single little thing in public i thought it was just a handle or something before you said it was a camera. And anyone who records you without your permission and features you into influencers in the wild they shall be the test subject for doofenshmirts next innator ^w^
.
You just need an earbut and a pre recorded video call. Attatch phone right below camera. Then everyone will just think you are on a call with someone...
ОтветитьThat looked like a joystick to me 😅 I do see the worry tho, ppl are very used to ppl just vlogging now.
ОтветитьLooks more like an accessibility aid or joystick
ОтветитьI think it just seems conspicuous because you know what it is. I don’t know if from behind you it looks more camera like but from the angle you showed it just looks like a bar that is a part of your chair. It might be a bit of a “own a blue car, now you always notice blue cars,” kind of thing. If someone’s not familiar with this setup and unless they’re really bored and having a good long stare they’re probably not going to notice the camera right away or dismiss it (as long as you’re not bothering them in another way😆). Totally get the desire to be inconspicuous and not come across as rude or inconvenience anyone but I think filming etiquette comes more from actions and trying to keep people who didn’t consent to be filmed off camera or obstructed as much as it’s in your power to do so.
ОтветитьI don’t think I would notice that at all 🤷♀️ I’m too busy worrying about all the other insane things happening in my life. Enjoy your camera!
ОтветитьYour setup is far less conspicuous than mine! ❤
I’m figuring out how to film from my TiLite ZRA. The Osmo gimbal, my iPhone, and gooseneck attachment are huge - and I have to hold the gooseneck between my knees.
Hopefully the magic arm and clamp that’s on the way will work better and not be so huge.
i would think you were otp!
Ответитьkinda just looks like a lever for control to anyone who doesnt know what they are looking at
ОтветитьI could totally use a rear view camera on my power chair 😆 It looks like that
ОтветитьIf you didn’t say it I would have assumed it was a handle or an attachment point. I really wouldn’t call it conspicuous.
ОтветитьTo be honest I wouldn't notice the camera, I'd think it was a part of your chair. The microphone however would make it noticable. Maybe try to find a more inconspicuous mic?
ОтветитьI would have just thought it was a part of the wheelchair. Wheelchairs have all sorts of attachments for different needs, so it really looks like it is just part of your setup.
ОтветитьNot going to lie, if I saw you with your phone and the attachment (even if you were talking) I'd assume it was just a convenient way to carry your phone since your hands are busy. I would guess that you're making a phone call or something like that. Maybe it's just from assuming the best, but you seem like the kind of person who is considerate and human enough to never ever be on 'influencers in the wild'. Much love!
ОтветитьIf people ask just say its a dash cam
ОтветитьIt looks like its part of the wheelchair. I think the average person wouldn't even know it's a camera and would just think it's the stick to drive the chair when you need it
ОтветитьJust put “please do not touch” on the camera. Everyone will assume it’s something medical.
ОтветитьOoo crochet a dinosaur headed sock slip to hide it from people!! 🦖🦕🦖
ОтветитьThat camera sticks out less than a knee would.
Ответитьmost people who don't use wheelchairs don't know anything about wheelchairs, and so they will assume a great number of highly conspicuous things are "just wheelchair parts" so.. i think you're safe from influencers in the wild x3
ОтветитьI recommend a phone holder and it would just look like you're talking on a video call
ОтветитьI’m glad no one said gorilla tag irl this time
ОтветитьI thought you were going to say the lower angle makes you uncomfortable because it gives the appearance of a double chin 😂
Ответитьthe folks who run influencers in the wild are deeply unhappy, imho
ОтветитьI'd have assumed it was a phone holder tbh
ОтветитьTbh it looks like a bag hook to me, like you can let it down to hold shopping bags.
ОтветитьImagine if Spencer got a lowwww taper fade
ОтветитьIm a wheelchair user and like everyone else is saying I would have assumed its some kind of assistive device attached to the chair to gold an umbrella or something
ОтветитьInfluencers in the wild lol
