Dude, I'm not using Garage band, actually I'm mostly on windows with Reaper, but I've been worked with most DAWs (counting GarageBand) and I know that garageband certainly can pull off professional records. It's all about how you use tools and not which tools you are using.

Get Reaper its cheap simple and professional
