His head to chin hair Contrast Ratio is more than my TV's 😂, Great video as always
ОтветитьI love it when you get down and dirty with a remodel <3 Goooo Tony!
ОтветитьAwsome that you go it all to work finger crossed
ОтветитьWe made our 130" screen from two layers of Spandex, black velvet surround and 1x4" pine boards. One layer was black, the outer layer is an off white. Spandex is audio transparent, very fine "pixels" and wrinkle free. We used the French cleat method to hang on wall. Minimal cost and very proud. Followed a couple of YT presenters.
ОтветитьDefinately looking forward to seeing your room finished again mate. And for anyone interested in the monza chairs, i can vouch for them having sat in them, the are very nice chairs!
ОтветитьMy Elite Screen also had issues but after contacting the dealer and exchanging multiple emails, I never got a replacement.
ОтветитьSuper enjoyable! Thank you so much for sharing!
ОтветитьNice progress, Tony! What’s your opinion on woven vs micro perf acoustically transparent screens?
ОтветитьAny plans to add infrasonic subwoofers? Subs that go lower than 20hz like alot of the subwoofers from JTR, Ascendo, Harbottle etc?
ОтветитьI can't even imagine having all those speakers in a room that size. I live in a penthouse condo and have a home theater room which is100% light controlled with a 120 inch projected image and a Samsung Q990C 11.1.4 dolby atmos sound system. I can't even turn it up past level 15 which goes to 100 and the sub is on 2 out of 10 before I feel like the bass and overall sound stage is gonna blow me physically out of the room Just those speakers alone behind the screen not even talking the other 15 around the room I would have to wear ear pro like I was shooting at the range. Ridiculous
ОтветитьI find on a lot of HT chairs that the headrest part hits a taller person (6'2" plus) in the shoulder blade area if want to sit upright and not comfortable. These look like don't do that? Is that correct?
ОтветитьMy man is back!!!!
ОтветитьQuestion - the door sensor will open a close the curtains. Is there a delay or override for any of it? I feel like the screen curtains opening is the big reveal. If it just opens any time you open the door, it spoils the reveal
ОтветитьHoly cow...how does this star ceiling work? I wish I could fly Marty here to help me install one. I dont understand how each of the panels go up and still are "attached". I guess I need to wait for the video on it :)
ОтветитьToo many subwoofers? 🤣
ОтветитьAnother question - any issues with the tweeter dispersion by having the subs that close? I suppose not since the subs are "blocking" the dispersion where you want to knock down reflections off to the sides
Ответить3 chairs in the back row? That means you get The King's Seat! In the middle, calibrated to that spot - love it!
ОтветитьLove the Govee product line. Do they have light switches like LIFX does?
ОтветитьThis man is on his 4th iteration of his room and I can’t even start my first iteration yet lol. Love it.
ОтветитьI assume you have sound proofing bats in your walls. Does it stop a lot of sound leakage into the other rooms? With all those lights generating heat do you have air con in your room. Are you getting any closer to the end finish. LOL
ОтветитьThanks Tony
Have you shown the design of your sliding door in any previous videos?
I will need to create the same, i will have a sliding door either side at the front of my room that i will be building next year.
Regards Mike
Nice Tony. Very interesting comments re how hard electric AT woven screens are to do. Great that Screen Technics were happy to pioneer with you. I think Carson may be in that space but high $.
ОтветитьTony, you have some seriously awesome friends. Micheal from Krix is visiting your room? You must be pinching yourself. The man is full of knowledge, and a great guy to boost.
ОтветитьToby, curious about the hyperphonix placement. I would have thought to have them mounted with the tweeter below the woofer, so to be more inline with the listener’s ear. Were you recommended to mount them as you have?
ОтветитьLook really nice.
ОтветитьHi mate,,Where to get those Curtains
ОтветитьWrong? You get to buy more stuff!
ОтветитьThanks Mate,
ОтветитьLooks good cant wait to see how it all comes together
ОтветитьCan’t wait Tony, next level ….
ОтветитьIt’s looking great Tony, you have patience that I can only dream about. Keep it up mate, you are inspiring an entire new generation of DIY’s
ОтветитьJust slap a 16:9 up there and be done with it. Don't over complicate things.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing the journey. Your lighting is mint. Keen to see the next vid
ОтветитьTony!!!!!! Look forward to the completion of your theater room. Looks excellent. Really like your creation of the automatic masking feature.
ОтветитьIt's too bad that Murphy made that stupid law 😜. Sorry to hear that things aren't going according to plan, but it seems to be the norm in most hobbies haha. I love those chairs, I don't blame you one bit for wanting them in your room. That LED lit carbon fiber is sexy. Can't wait to see the finished product...cheers buddy.
ОтветитьHi Tony. I’m enjoying watching you share your HT journey. I’d be keen to hear what has lead to you choosing the screen fabric. I have found that screen fabrics arnt always available for viewing prior to purchase. Thus there’s a lot of crossing fingers when making a purchase.
