Just started my filmmaking passion as a career for music videos. Done 2 music videos and realised that I need to be in an environment with lots of music if I want to pursue it. So I'm planning to move to Stockholm after summer and do a filmmaking/content program while networking into the music industry. Nervewracking and the switch happened so fast now. Any tips?

I also just moved back to the GTA, from Vancouver, where I've worked in the film industry for 10 years, from camera trainee to camera operator. One thing I gotta say, working as a technician gives you no creative freedom. At the end of the day, you are working on someone else's project, a big studio. Since moving back I have done exactly what you are doing, creating opportunities of my own. However I am still working within IATSE to make a living. At the end of the day, making your own films is much more fulfilling. I hope you thrive in downtown!
