the black one, i had to get them to send 2 more times before i got one that wasnt defective.

Why companies are still using micro USB is beyond me. It's something that would definitely stop me buying a product and look for an alternative.

Changing the colour of the led from red is good for using maps or charts with contour lines as many have red contours which are impossible to see under some torches.

Like the channel and video but must rib you: Leave it to a British Subject - owned by their government - not allowed to have real men's toys, to not understand that the "Over engineered" strap mounts on the radio are standard QD strap/swivel mounts used widely on "real" EDC equipment that us Yanks are free to own...

Thanks for this wonderful update. My shopping neuron would like to buy everything you feature so tantalisingly. On this occasion I confess that I did find the Sofirn IF24 irresistible so bought one direct from their website. To my surprise, the price was much lower than anticipated and delivery took just a few days. The light itself is just what I hoped it would be. I am a fan of LED Lenser gear but the Sofirn is now my favourite.

Love the reviews. In this episode the only thing worth it's weight is the flashlight, whereas all of the other items are non essential and mostly overpriced bling.

Micro USB?!? Didn’t we start to phase those out in 2015? Immediate disqualifier for any product. Asshats.

I have the original Tau powerbank and yes, I rarely use it as I never charge it due to having to use the dock, so the reverse charging is a welcome and expected addition but having it split into two parts a downgrade in my opinion.

Micro USB in 2024?! For a company to put a Micro USB port on a product nowadays says something about them and their products. I used to refuse to buy anything with Micro USB out of inconvenience. Now I refuse to buy because of what it also potentially says about the company and their products. Not interested and it could be an idea for reviewers to boycott products with Micro USB.

I got tau2 waited few months for it, they sent it to me in Sweden, I contacted them about the lightning not charging, they avoid my problem and try to make excuses to not send a replacement. I actually gave up, won’t buy from this company ever again.

I really like a strobe function, but it's useless if it's not instantly accessible imho, no use if you have to cycle through the whole menu (and possibly skip it)

really like the look of the pathfinder v2 mini tool. I live in England and am unsure if I'm legally allowed to carry it as I'm not too familiar with carry laws. would anyone be able to inform me as to whether I can or not please? thanks

Sofirn IF23 can be used as a 5000mah powerbank. Wonder why they got rid of it in the new IF24 and Pro versions? Thought a power bank combined with a flash light was the new way...guess not

Are things like the Pen and Key chain tool legal to carry in the UK? The latter has a lockable blade, so does that qualify it as an illegal carry?

I use one of those Sofirn lights on my boat for navigation lights, i need white, red and GREEN for that.

I refuse to buy any product with micro USB charging. I’m not carrying or keeping a dedicated cord around just so you can save 2p rather than use proper USB-C ports.
