Did you know that Jean Stapleton’s son was John Putch? He is probably most well known for portraying Barbara Cooper’s wanna be boyfriend Bob Morton on One Day at a Time.

This is as powerful as you’ll ever find. Jean was a gift to us. Her work was passionate and strong. Archie Edith are never to far from their fans. Yes they’re both gone now and doing their thing in their new Journeys. Rob said Carroll Jean I love you. I didn’t know them but I knew Archie and Edith. Archie Edith Good Night. Sleep well. I notice that Rob Reiner didn't mention Edith's BEAUTIFUL singing, or her SHORT stories!

why don't you mention her other performances? Her beautiful singing voice (which was radically different from Edith's), her stage work, her films? Instead its just TV TV and more TV.
