He didn't saw it was improvised. He said it was one player reading his teammate....sort of like the read and react offense. All of what they ate doing is in the read and react offensive system.

When you watch them play, it just looks different.

In my opinion, this is a typical read and react type of offense but these are still set plays. There isn't only one way to finish them, cause defense determines what decision must be made.

Actually seems like an offense that doesn’t have set please but set principles and rules. So in my opinion, both the game commentator and the video narrator are right. it’s not a set play in that players go to an exact spot and do exactly what they’re supposed to do but rather play within the flow of using certain principles with multiple options. However, because the players are aware of these options, they react to their teammates choices.
