He just got another new fan.now I gotta hear the rest of the cd.(btw a nice write-up in the 16 sept 2012 new York times by Jon Caramanica).He said this was the best song on the album but he liked the whole cd as well.

I saw him for the first time at College Station's relay for Life playing "Shoeboxes" ---I can't stop listening to him. Anyone know if he has a tour coming up or not?

First heard this guy in Decatur, Georgia on the same bill as Noah Gundersen. Both awesome artist! Go see these guys live and toast some whiskey with them.

Saw him play last night while he was touring with Shakey graves.  I had never heard of him before, and I was so glad I got to the show early.  Blown away.  He was absolutely great.  If you get the chance to see him go!

wonderful song! inspired me in my latest creation...

This song hit me. I'm 31 and single. I've lived in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California. I'll be going to Germany soon and then to Asia for half a year. In the last 12 years of my life, i have not lived in the same place for more than two years at a time. I have no reason to stay. No one to be my anchor. No one to settle down with. Not even casual girlfriends. I barely see my nieces and nephews and, like the singer, i wonder if i'll ever have my own children. Earlier this afternoon, i was thinking about the movie "My Life" starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman and i wondered if i'll ever get the chance to tell stories to my children. I'm always thinking of things i want to say and do for my children: things i wish i had learned, give them the freedom to choose their own way, and help them develop a strong mind with confidence. ... This song is literally what has been heavy on my mind like a rock in my shoe for the last several years... but especially in the last couple months.
