Ответитьwonderful song! inspired me in my latest creation...
ОтветитьThis song hit me. I'm 31 and single. I've lived in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California. I'll be going to Germany soon and then to Asia for half a year. In the last 12 years of my life, i have not lived in the same place for more than two years at a time. I have no reason to stay. No one to be my anchor. No one to settle down with. Not even casual girlfriends. I barely see my nieces and nephews and, like the singer, i wonder if i'll ever have my own children. Earlier this afternoon, i was thinking about the movie "My Life" starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman and i wondered if i'll ever get the chance to tell stories to my children. I'm always thinking of things i want to say and do for my children: things i wish i had learned, give them the freedom to choose their own way, and help them develop a strong mind with confidence. ... This song is literally what has been heavy on my mind like a rock in my shoe for the last several years... but especially in the last couple months.
ОтветитьOutstanding singer/songwriter!!
ОтветитьWhat a voice
Ответитьcould the music be any more boring or cliche' ?
hit a button on the Casio?
I'll take lame country for $2
voice is alright
This is absolutely amazing!
ОтветитьDavid Ramirez is a gift.
ОтветитьChilles
ОтветитьDavid’s voice is like manna for the soul, and his lyrics speak to the subconscious in ways far too rare among today’s artists. I bet Johnny Cash has a smile on his face as he glances down … Look after yourself David, and thank you for keeping us in touch with our inner selves. Hope it has not come a too big a personal cost! 🙏🏻
ОтветитьReally nice.
Single shot?
This song getting me through hell right now. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat and fantastick Tønder
ОтветитьC.j.b I hope you read this and know I come back to this song now and then and think of you.. forever always, no matter what.
ОтветитьStill great 11 years later
Ответитьgreat song David - you really know the struggle.
