Shinju's character, Soma, is the older brother of Mirai, the pink-haired protagonist of "Flower Princess Blaze!!"; he's the guy that Neon (the one Marin is cosplaying) has a crush on, and is dating the guy that Shion (Juju's character) has a crush on. He's basically Touya Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura.

I legit cried when I first saw this episode. I think one of the best things about cosplay is that it allows you to experiment with identity, and sometimes having a different body can help you feel more like yourself than you normally do.

The Writer of the Manga did a lot of on-sight research when writing, She travelled to schools, and cosplay events, interviewed and met with cosplayers, learned all the tips and tricks so that the manga was accurate to how things are actually done with pro cosplayers and the little hacks new cosplayers use. I love how the story really makes you feel like you can cosplay if you really wanted to! Also Gojo is such a wonderful and sweet young man, yeah he is a guy and has pervy thoughts who doesn't, but he is respectful as hell and I appreciate that, he would never do anything to take advantage of someone else. Plus he got the tism and I can connect with that!

I’ve grown to really dislike having to dress in suits and such because my mom and family would often get me things that were, more or less, the “right size”. With the insistence of a tie, and my claustrophobia would start to run wild at times, to the point that I literally wanted to tear myself out of the clothes on the spot and set them on fire so I’d never have to wear them again. So, if I suffered in something that is worn normally, I can’t imagine I’d last using things to alter my body in such uncomfortable ways, like corsets and such.

A few episodes ago, almost everyone hates Sajuna for blackmailing our boy. Then we get here and everyone denies taht she could ever hate her sister for a bad cosplay. But when we first met her, she was very judgmental towards Marin, gatekeeping, etc. I think it says quite a bit about the show with how fast people turn around on Juju

I REALLY didn't like Juju because of her threat when she first appeared, but Gojou brings out the best in people and I really love how Marin and Juju are just fangirling over the cosplay together. He really brings positive changes to everyone

One of my favourite little things about Gojo is when he refers to characters the way the cosplayer does, say “Soma-oniichan” or “Shizuku-tan”, it’s very endearing.

This is one of my absolute favorite anime. I respect your feelings about fanservice, but I feel like in this particular series they're making it a challenge. Can they produce an anime that has a fair amount of fanservice but still be both wholesome and realistic about it? Gojo isn't some lecher, nor is he completely unaware; and Kitagawa isn't a seductress or a clumsy panty-flasher. He's just a really inexperienced guy and she's so comfortable in her own body that she can be a bit clueless as to its effect on him. Those are true-to-life personality types, and they make both of them seriously adorable. I also like how it's the "manic pixie dream girl" who falls head-over-heels for the normie rather than the other way around. And despite the teasing about harem tropes, it doesn't devolve into a harem. So yeah, I actually have a lot of respect for the manga writer and the anime producers for not shying away from the silly awkwardness of teenage sexuality.

Coulda done without Juju's nude scene though. NGL.
