Here's my theory on what happened. Jeffree gave a call to Garbiel since he was the least popular of the bunch and the one with the most to gain and told him Hey... Maybe you should switch side because I'm about to leak stuff about all of you but you know, if you take my side I'll back off of you, you'll get the clout, everybody wins. And Gabriel did exactly that. He was the instigator of all this and yet he was the fastest to turn around to kiss Jeffree's pasty ass. He's the one who poste the pic, he's the one who called Jeffree racist, he had the worst tweet out of all of them and yet...he grew. While they're all social climber, the biggest one of that group is Gabriel and he should have gotten much more flack.. and if it was today, his volteface wouldn't fly. He would still be hound as a racist hypocrite. Different times indeed.

I use to follow him on MySpace one of the most toxic people alive, and guess what he’s never changed, just realized that he can make a living out of putting a mask on. I’m not gonna lie… everything with Dramageddon, Sistergeddon, and Dramageddon 2 I feel like will be in textbooks in the future. Like this is literal human history. Millions of people saw this go down and I feel it has affected social media on a historical level. I remember, people in every classroom at my school had the James Charles subscriber count on their phones, laptops, or iPads. We had even teachers put it up on the damn white board through the projector!

I'm new to the whole genre of drama commentary and beauty community channels and this video is a great overview. I didn't know about any of this and I'm playing catch up. Thanks Smokey Glow! I bet the four friends realized how bad jeffree was but they couldn’t say anything about what happened or him because either they were too scared of jeffree and what he could do ( blackmail ) or jeffree had made them sign ndas before everything went down to protect his image

I came to the beauty community through Boxy unboxings 😅 Manny led me to Laura, but I don’t follow Gabriel, Jefree, Nikita, Tati, James, etc…I’ve always been curious what happened.
Gabriel & Manny & Laura hang out again now, so it’s crazy to me hearing all this now.

This was a great walk down the past. I miss the group friendship as the videos were so funny. Especially the manny and Jeffree ones. They just brought so much joy. Least we have them still to re-watch

It's crazy to me the great lengths people still go to defend Jefree. No one had this many undeserved second chances. The fact that he says he is a a-hole doesn't make him better than other a-holes!

I think the most problematic of them all is obviously Jeffree. The problem is is jeffree has NEVER changed. He never put on an act. He was who he was. I think everyone else all seemed fake and that’s why so many ppl just quit trusting them. Everyone but jeffree lost the most thru all the dramas. I think that’s the main difference. Everyone else seemed to put in a persona but jeffree “seemed” like he never did. He was an a*+hole and that’s that. Plus, like you said he’s just so polarizing that people can’t let him go.
