Dude, Onyx the Fortuitous blew us away. Made my wife sit down and watch it, then we restarted it when my son came down stairs. Loved it.

PHJ, is not has good as the Hustler\Color of Money... (Im an old pool player) - Just my opinion.

True story: I watched Bad Lieutenant in a hotel room in the US once, the night before flying back to Europe. The next day at JFK, I came across one of these "golf carts" that they use to shuttle important or not very mobile people from one place to another at airports. However, this cart contained only Harvey Keitel and, I assume, Mrs Keitel. Because his face looked so familiar, I greeted him with a cheerful "hiya!". He looked at me somewhat confused. Only then did I realise what had happened...

A Scout's Guide to a Zombie Apocalypse is brilliant horror/comedy fun! Would pair it with Zombieland like you mentioned and ...for a tripple shot add Zombeavers and youll have one hell of a fun time 😳🤔😸🤘

The Cooler is one of my favorite movies. Cannot recommend it enough. Solid on every front, an almost perfect movie that you've never heard of. I liked Bill Macey before, but just loved him after this movie, and Maria Bello was perfect casting. Watch it.

Brotherhood of the Wolf is based on a "true" story about The Beast of Gevaudan. I put true in quotes because there was a series of killings in Gevaudan,France, by a giant wolf/cryptid back around the time that's in the movie.

This is just dumb stupid campy fun.
if you want to check out for a couple of hours and giggle from time to time. I give it a thumbs up.

Pandorum and Winter's Bone are very good and Brotherhood of the Wolf is outstanding. I thought that the Zombie Scout movie was absolute rotten garbage but some low standards teenage boys from 1992 might like it. :)

I actually rated Amazon video. That was until they put adverts in. Tend to watch Tubi in the UK but vpn to USA because the catalogue is so much better.

I do love that you included Wicked City. I actually own it. That was the movie that taught me never to trust American Dubbing, and always find an original subtitled version of foreign films.
This is due to the nature of the story revolving around a working partnerships to protected ambassadors for a recurring peace summit between the humans and the Oni. These concepts do not always align with American thinking. The concept of an Oni (or demon) in other cultures is not the same as the Christian American ideal. This being said, the original 1980s dubbed version, imported by Miramax, changed the ending 180 degrees, completely bastardizing the character decisions to more correctly align with perceived American morality.
Now I don't know if subsequent releases have fixed this gross miscalculation, and violation of the artist's work, but if you are into Anime of this type, and decide to watch it, to get the best idea and thematic design of the creators, it must be watched in Japanese with subtitles.

The Bank Job is based on a real heist in the U.K. back in the 1970's.

The Pledge! I saw that when it was first released and totally forgot about it since remembered actually really liking it upon seeing it on this list. Definitely one of Jack Nicholson's best late roles. I don't even recall the pacing having been an issue!

Bad Lieutenant was NOT fantastic to me. Naked nun was ok and Harvey is a hell of an actor but I could have continued to miss this...
